Easy to find as it’s right opposite Marks and Spencers in the Hill Street Centre. The shop is large and roomy with bright lighting. When I was younger I used to get taken there for school shoes. It used to be a lot more popular than it is nowadays as the shoes used to be better quality. It can get busy around school time but mostly the shop is really empty.
The shoes are all quite cheap, mostly big glittery affairs with enormous heels that look cheap and plasticy as if they might snap. The shop workers never look that happy to be working there either. I tend to avoid this place if I’m looking for shoes.
