We went here for the first time a couple of nights ago after noticing the refurbishment going on in the pub over the last few months. And what a transformation! The interior is lovely, with the backs of all the chairs covered in fake fur. Slightly too cold to be completely comfortable, but that’s about my only complaint. Our waitress was courteous and polite, and the food was great as well. Not perfect, but that’s a rare occurance in restaurants anyway I find. The chocolate fudge cake we had for dessert was exquisite. Won’t be a frequent visitor as the average main meal price is around £10 which is more than my budget allows for, but I will be back.
