Zero Records

Such a shame that this place has closed down. I spent a few afternoons rooting for a few obscure CD’s an vinyls.
Bring it back!

This place seemingly closed down some time ago, and I half expected an Estate Agents or some other banal show piece for commercialism in it’s place. Thankfully it became The Art of Tea (and a few other shops slotted inside it’s length) and Zero records was saved, albeit in a much small format. Still, it’s great that this place is still open despite it’s shrinkage. Originally run by Rob and I presume (despite new management) still run by the knowledgeable fellow that is Rob, Zero is the place to go if you’re after a bit of second hand vinyl (forget the charity shops, you’ll either get ‘Top of the Pops 6′ albums or charged the earth for a Dion Warwick 12 in Oxfam). Prices are good also.
Sack load of knowledge and wonderfully friendly and helpful service maketh the store you continue to visitwhich is exactly what you get at Zero records.
Long may it continue in the age of iCats and MP’s full of torrents.
