Westworld Retail Corp

This shop (or «store» as they like to call it) is a Manchester home-​brand. The Westworld retail empire, stretching across 10 cities in the UK (one in each!!!), is based in Manchester and primarily pushes the brands of it’s also-​Manchester-​based parent company — Bench and Hooch. Exchange Square itself is a showcase for those brands, in case you’re not familiar with them, as they are proudly donned by the swarm of menacing youths with their scateboards and litter and ASBOs and cans of turbo-​pop.
As Westworld’s newest, most expensive in terms and rent, and easiest to maintain shop, this place offers the the top brands in t-​shirts (or ‘tees’ as they like to call them), jeans (or ‘a jean’ as they like to call them), and, of course, hoodies. The t-​shirts often feature images of communist pop-​culture idols, while the trousers (to be worn no higher than the knees) boast zips and pockets where they’re not even necessary, let alone desirable. Obviously, the bloated prices are being funneled into innovation.
This place, and indeed Westworld as a whole, seems to have taken a nosedive since around October 2005… Can’t put my finger on it though… just seems like… it’s lost a certain charm…

Westworld was a staple for me once upon a time; when I loved hoodies (not the offensive sort, honest), baggy jeans and belts with alien heads on it.
No wonder this is a student staple!
Westworld sells its own brand but also a lot of Hooch, Bench, the sort of utility look.
There are still some lovely things in there, such as the bags and odd tops. The feeling is that the clothing is very casual and not so much for older people.
The men’s section is excellent for tshirts, jumpers and jeans at a decent price. It offers a fresh alternative to the likes of Topman and Burton’s.
