Warehouse Project

Insane, incredible, deafening, epic, antics-​galore and drunken are a number of many words that could be used to describe the Warehosue Project. This venue is primarily used for DJs to rave up this underground space along with some of Manchester’s well-​known bands every night of the week making this a very popular place to get tickets for and to entice students to turn up and stay until the knackered hour of 5am. Immense night!

Best clubbing night in Manchester for a long time. The main factor being that its all about teh music as theres not alot else!
Its in a tunnel underneath Piccadilly Train Station, even the loo’s are porta loo’s but this all adds to the atmosphere which is like a proper old skool rave.
Sasha has said that this is his favourite UK night to play at. Need I say anymore.
The line ups are great and something for everyone, you just have to choose the right weekend.

What a setting for a venue! Found underneath Manchester Picc train station and is made of brickwork arches which you can guess makes for fantastic acoustics. It’s a shame this only runs for a few months a year and that tickets sell out very quickly, although not surprising considering some of the big names in dance/​house/​electro etc they pull in. Went last year to see Miss Kittin and The Hacker with friends and we all had a fantastic night out — great music, atmosphere and light shows. The chill out seating area is a great touch too, especially if you want a break from all the dancing or somewhere to chat. Plently of bars dotted around so no long waiting for a drink — shame the drinks are pricey and not much choice — but you’ll be dancing too much to care. Portaloos are well pretty gross but considering the venue you wouldn’t be able to get anything better — all in all great night out, especially if you are a fan of the scene.

This place is brilliant, so long as you book your ticket in advance and don’t need the toilet all night!
It’s set in a warehouse underneath picadilly station. The bar is brilliant and offers all the main beer bottles and alcopops and red bull. There is plenty of space — I have been twice now. They have a chill out area with chairs and tables, which even when sold out has space for all.
The only bad thing is the toilets which are portaloos but thats to be expected at a venue like this.
They have loads of top DJs and artitsts playing there. Often four or five on the same night. Its open every weekend until just after christmas but get your tickets soon!
Drinks are around £3 each. tickets range from about 15 – 20 and there is a cloakroom. There are three bars and merchandise you can buy in there.
There is a really good atmosphere and everyone is always realy nice — just there for a good time and to listen to some good music.
