You can’t move in this place for superstars. Over there; it’s Madonna checking out the selection of white ciders. And there’s Harrison Ford fighting with Salma Hayek over the last bag of cool original flavour Doritos. And who’s that there? Oh yes, it’s Sean ‘P-Diddy née Puff Daddy’ Combs umm-ing and ahh-ing over what ice cream to get. You know you’re just going go for the cornetto again puffy! Even if you’re not a famous and beautiful celebrity they will let you shop here; there’s no velvet rope in this VIP section. Beers, wines, spirits, crisps and sweets are all available at Superstar. You should expect to pay more for your booze than in Tesco or Sainsbury’s, but then the place does cater to the rich and famous. It’s in the name — what else do you expect?

I don’t know why they say that this place has got something to do with video games because all one can see is just the ample amount of alcohol stocked in here. It’s a fairly known off license shop which is frequented by many in Rusholme area who’re probably put off by Spar’s pricey-ness. It does soft drinks, chocolates and crisps/ice creams, even newspapers quite like a newsagent in that respect.

Not sure about this place as a video game and film rental place, but I do know it as an off license. It flogs all the normal stuff. I don’t mean it flogs normal stuff in the sense of giving normal things a good flogging, beating and pummeling, but rather it flogs normal stuff in the sense of selling and vending it. Oh you already knew what I meant? Sorry. Anyway it sells chocolates, soft drinks, newspapers and ice creams. Woo!
