Sports Direct

I’m not normally the sort of person you’d find in a shop like Sports Direct, as sports gear is not something I would wear out of choice, nor am I a sports fan in particular. But when you’re shopping for your BF’s sister’s new husband at Christmas, you recall the fact that he’s a huge Manchester United fan (despite being a Londoner… no, I don’t know how this works either) and think, what better than a bunch of novelty stuff. Oh, and it’s in the SALE!
My significant other and I had a field day picking out an variety of ridiculous stuff that would annoy his sister to death, in particular the horrific Man United alarm clock. There were even themed wine gums and a backpack in which we would store his signed United football we bought from EBay (see, the novelty gifts were just a ruse to conceal a proper gift). It’s incredible what you can get in here though, as well as the silly stuff there’s plenty for little kids and tons of reasonably priced clothing and footwear for the gym and general exercise. Two floors of products for that matter.
So don’t judge a book by its cover. Even people like me, who resembled Daria at school with their half-​hearted attempts to engage in sports, can find something to purchase in Sports Direct. I know, shocking!
