Learning Spanish for holidays, casual learners, adults and those who simply have busy lives and don’t wish to commit to a long-​term course.

We are a small team of teachers who offer a range of language courses, suitable for all learners. Our courses are designed to be taught as self-​contained units. We don’t require 30 weeks or a term to teach you the basics; in three hours we are confident that you can learn far more than you thought possible.

History

Established in 2012.

We are a small team of teachers who felt that many language learners and would-​be Spanish speakers were put off by inadequate teaching at school, and a lack of time in adulthood.

We came together with one simple mission: to bring Spanish to the public, and show that language learning needn’t be as gruelling as is often made out.

Having spent the last 12 years teaching English, French, Spanish and Japanese around the world, I was always surprised and a bit dismayed at the things I heard from friends and at Parents’ Evenings; «Oh, I was never any good at languages,» and «I can’t learn now, I’m too old».

Spanglish For All came from the idea that I wanted to improve my Japanese, but as a busy professional, simply didn’t have the time to commit to a 30-​week evening class. Who wants to study 6−9pm on a Thursday, when you haven’t done your homework?!

I looked for ages for a course that delivered what I needed; a quick refresher on the basics in a group for fun. Alas, there didn’t seem to be anything out there, so Spanglish For All was born.
