Established in 2014.

The Director started importing Spanish foods since 2012 as an independent commercial agent (self employed). Due to the increment of the demand he decided to formalize the business by setting up this company at on January 2014. Today is one of the most relevant suppliers specialized in Spanish foods in the zone of the North West of United Kingdom and with an strong perspective to become one of the main companies of this sector in the whole UK for the next years.

Business Owner

Born in Albacete (Spain), Fran S. started a bachelor’s degree at the University of Castilla– La Mancha (Spain). From the beginning he was putting his attention to the management and strategy specialization. Some of the highlights are his research project «Entrepreneurial Intention in University Students», Award for the Best Marketing Plan ‘Business re-​design of La Tienda Romero’ and opinion articles in the Journal of the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Once the degree was finished he decided to move to the UK to be able to develop some skills that hardly he could have developed in Spain as well as learning about a different and interesting business culture.

The knowledge about the Spanish food is one of the key point of the succeed of Spaneli mainly because Fran S. grew up in Castilla– La Mancha which is the place where many products like Manchego cheese come from.
