Shamnah Tandoori

This is a fab take away. The food is always delicious, the staff are friendly and always happy to offer advice if needed and delivery is speedy (free for meals over £10).
They have various set menus our favourite is the vegetarian banquet which as well as being very tasty is also fantastic value. For £14.50 you get the following. 4 poppadoms with onions and mango chutney; 2 large onion bhajis, 2 garlic mushrooms; 2 veg samosas;2 pakoras and a tiny bag of salad (you often get two); portion of sag allo (this is really nice): Two portions of mushroom pilau rice; 1 portion of veg masala and one portion of veg rogan josh. 1 spicy onion nan (although they are happy to change it for a plain one which we prefer)
This is a huge amount of food and we tend to have it over two days. We have the starters and sag aloo on day one, then have the pleasure of knowing that the next day we can look forward to a yummy curry!
Of course we do sometimes eat the lot in one night but not often as there is so much food.
This is a fantastic take away and the prices are very competitive. I have never found a take away that can compere to this one in quality and most certainly on price.
I cannot recommend this highly enough. I am really hungry now!
