Sew Convenient Ltd is a local business offering a bespoke alterations/​repairs service for all. We also do; T shirt printing, embroidery, made to measure, bridal & prom wear& sewing machine servicing. We can pick up and drop off at your request, throughout the Trafford area and we provide a sewing service at your prices!

We are currently open five days per week

History

Established in 2006.

I initially set up the business Sewconvenient in 1997 however, it became established in 2006! Then I worked from home as a seamstress and tailor, going to the customers and picking up/​dropping off their garments, until my business volume caused me to move my operation into rented space at Sale Rugby Club. This expanded space allowed me to concentrate more and

facilitate the growing equipment. I stopped trading to go into higher education in 2009, where I attended a 2 year Foundation degree in fashion and clothing technology, at the Manchester College. With my rapidly increasing business, consequentially the space I’d outgrown!

I’m now managing a fantastic team, providing many services for individual customers and local businesses.

The business Sewconvenient was born in approximately 1997. Then I worked extensively on my business model, with what was then at that time, TBV (Trafford business venture). I had at that time been working for a well known business as a

seamstress, however I knew I was always going to set up my own thing as my skills were there and so were the requests from friends/​family to do their clothing repairs or adaptations! I had also previously attended college in 1994 to do a course in; starting up a business in clothing & design, that was at North Trafford College, which was located on Stretford Rd, Old Trafford.
