Out & About Carpets have no high street premises or huge overheads, so my prices are competitive, I bring the samples to you & match your décor on site. I have 30 years experience, I’m friendly & won’t overstay my welcome. All my installations are done by time served fitters & the balance is only paid once you’re 100% happy.

Choosing a flooring can be a difficult task. Which colour? Man made or wool? Which is hard wearing? Best for stains & family use? Whatever your needs are I can offer the professional advice you need. My range is extensive, Cormar, Furlongs, Axminster, 80/​20, roll ends, cheap & cheerful, Tredaire & Cloud 9 underlay plus much more, I also have a fantastic range of Laminate & Vinyl.

My promise to you is that I’ll let you choose your flooring at your own pace in the comfort of your own home, I will never overcharge for any of my products & will not quote for any work that doesn’t need doing. Please give me a call, I have the flexibility to call when it suits you.

History

Established in 2008.

I have over 30 years experience working within the Carpet & Floor covering trade. During this time I have worked for well known retailers, wholesalers & manufacturers, including over 20 years service at Carpet World Hazel Grove Stockport.

I decided to start my own business because I believe customer service levels at some of my previous employers wasn’t up to standard. I frequently felt frustrated because my hands were tied & I couldn’t implement what I thought was best for the customer. I also seen a gap in the market, overheads were crippling retailers & they were forced to pass these costs onto you. My business can offer all what you would expect from a high street retailer but with a more friendly, professional, one to one service & competitive prices.
