New look has a vast array of clothing, shoes, accessories and more — yet this shop is teeny and offers a tiny selection. Limited stock and a cramped space makes shopping not very enjoyable here. Average shoe and dress sizes are always missing and jewellery scatters the floor. Whenever I enter this place, it looks messy and things are always in the wrong place. I feel kinda sorry for the staff as they clearly have too much to deal with. Management needs to step up a bit!

My girlfriend and I came into New Look in the Trafford Centre because she was armed with some kind of 25% off voucher that she’d cut out of some terrible girly magazine. Nonetheless, 25% off is 25% off and that’s a good thing. She was going to get a few bits and bobs and I was going to get some new smartish work clothes. That was, until we realised that this New Look doesn’t have a men’s section whatsoever. So we left, and rushed to the New Look in the Arndale Centre the next day before her stupid voucher ran out.

This is a big store with loads of clothing and shoes and accessories. Its geared towards the teenage and younger market but I sometimes find some nice tea shirts and jeans here. The tills are usually well staffed and the staff are very efficient and polite at the changing rooms and on the tills. It is priced reasonably and they usually have a good sale and promotions throughout the year.

Like the massive New Look in the Arndale Centre, this branch leaves a lot to be desired aesthetically. The lights are too bright, the layout is uninspired and the staff seem like they’d rather be anywhere else than at work serving customers! The womens clothes aren’t anything to shout about either. The standard ranges look cheap and disposable — that’s fast fashion for you I guess! — and the Idol and Limited Edition ranges look plain trashy. The menswear however, is much stronger with some eye-catching cotton and wool cardigans retailing at £15 and sneakers at £12-£15.
