Manpower

First of all I popped my CV into this Manpower branch and had a quick chat with a friendly man who asked me what kind of work I was looking for. I was then sent over to Manpower Professional where the lovely Paddy (who has unfortunately left now) had another chat with me.
A few weeks later and they had found me a relatively well-​paid job where I could use my skills (including my German, which I had found it hard to find a use for elsewhere). This was originally a 6 month contract, which I was happy about, which was then extended for another 6 months. Although it was annoying to fax off a timesheet every week for an entire year, I was happy to have a job that I enjoyed.
The agency itself was friendly but not annoyingly so, and I never had a problem with my pay or holiday. All in all, a professional service from Manpower Professional. Not bad as far as agencies go, but I still can’t bring myself to give them 5 stars, as they still take a large proportion of your hard-​earned cash!
