M & S Cafe

Absolutely love M & S foodhall, so as they have another offer on iam back…
The offer for Chinese New year is 2 mains & 3 sides for £10.
The food here is such good quality I keep coming back. My tea sorted for this evening.

When ever there’s an offer for dine in for 2 I can’t resist it you get a side a main and desert with a bottle of red or white wine. The food they put on offer is as always delicious with a choice of 2 or 3 meals and the wine also is delicious. If you haven’t tried their offer you really are missing out. Can’t wait for the next one.

Great food as expected. Service with a smile. But Jesus need to remortgage. Good job I had plastic. It was self serve too.

This is a café, located in Marks and Spencers Simply Food what is the last shop on the right of the retail park.
As you walk to the store, you should be able to see the café as it is next to the entrance to the store.
This is a satisfactory café, It offers Gluten Free, I saw some Gluten Free sweet treats such as brownies however they also had sandwiches for £3.75, they normally offer Cheddar Cheese Ploughmans, having tried this at The Middlebrook Retail Park Marks and Spencers, I just wanted to try it again and unfortunately they had run out, the staff was very nice and explained the popularity that even non coeliacs get the sandwich and they get them in every day and he even offered to go inside the shop and see if they were being sold, unfortunately they wasn’t but a nice gesture.
They had a nice selection of cold beverages, I decided to try a Still Blackcurrant Lemonade, with me not being a fan of fizzy drinks, this was actually not bad, but it wasn’t the best beverage I have ever had and I bet they would of been quite a few better ones to choose.
I also ordered a Tomato and Basil Soup, it came with Gluten Free bread, what was very nice. The Soup was thick in some areas and watery in others, it wasn’t the best soup I have had either. The bread was nice, served with some nice butter also.
With the Cheddar Cheese Ploughman’s sandwich not being available, I decided to have the other Gluten Free Sandwich which was Chicken Salad, this was not as good as the other I had in Horwich, it did come apart when it shouldn’t, The Chicken didn’t taste of the quality I would expect, the sandwich was undeniable really and I was very annoyed having spent £3.75
With the staff being very nice, I can’t give this place 1 star but I can’t give it more than 2 because of the quality of my food.

Great café, very clean & tidy. Reasonable prices for a very welcoming setting. Good hot food and amazing soft window seating round the edges. Morning staff very friendly.
