Lotus Fish & Chips

I wouldn’t rate this takeaway at all, this Chinese takeaway has cornered the market as there’s no other Chinese takeaways in the surround the area. We only go for convenience! We need to stop!
The curry is below average and a bit tasteless, it resembles a gravy sauce more than a curry. Because all the meals are microwaved the curry we had tonight was cold and very very watery. We also had Kung pow chicken which was very bland, and a garlic chicken which was very salty but piping hot!
We did ask if they did onion rice as I’ve had it from other takeaways and the staff said they didn’t but they could make some up for us… I thought that was nice, but all they did was add some small pieces of soggy onions to some egg fried rice. The boiled rice had the consistency of rice pudding.
I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve had the mixed starter in the past and that’s always been very filling and cooked well.
