As we are still in the recession, it is interesting to observe how the economic crisis is survived differently by different businesses. Some of them, even if apparently successful, still fold. Others brave the changes and manage to get on with life rather well.
The latter is the case with Elite Dress Agency. It existed in the same premises already in 2005. I was looking for a place to take some good clothes that I wasn’t going to wear anymore, and a colleague recommended Elite. Since then I’ve visited it a few times and walked past even many more times, although I never bought anything.
The place takes «elite» seriously: you will find a plenty of designer pieces there, at the price not so cheap. The good thing about Elite, which is what distinguishes it from many other second-​hand boutiques in Manchester, is the quality of clothes. Because they take their range seriously, you are getting your money’s worth.
Elite Dress Agency is located at the bottom of King St West, next to Greggs.
