Ego – Trafford Centre

My wife and I tried the special lunch menu here, 2 coarses £9.99, the food quality was actually quite good especially for a chain however the portion size left alot to be desired, the main coarse came with a side dish of vegatables and boiled potatoes, this was 1 carrot cut into thin strips and 2 very small potaotes cut into 4 pieces! I mentioned to the waitress that this was a very small mean portion of veg considering how cheap veg is and was told this was infact for both of us to share!!! the deserts were very nice esp the cheese cake but at £4.50 each very pricey, we left feeling hungry and ripped off and vowed never to return, however I’m pleased to report this restaurant is now closed. no loss there.
