I worked in Currys once when I was a lot younger, and it always struck me as an electronics store made by robots, and staffed with slightly less sophisticated robots. As Sam points out, there’s no character inside this store, but that’s pretty much par for the course in any Currys store you can think of. Normally I find everything in them overpriced, but since this is a clearance centre you can pick up some right bargains if you don’t mind putting up some scuffs and scrapes on your purchase.

Currys Clearance is where lots of white goods like fridge freezers, tumble dryers or washing machines live. They’re all just very slightly tarnished or shop soiled. But they all come with a warrantee and everything is cheaper than you can find it online or for new. I bought a Matsui washing for £160. It looks brand new, has been working perfectly for six months and cost far less than all the other prices I found. I took it home myself, but it costs a little extra to get delivery too. This Currys has little to no character inside, it’s more a place to go when you already know exactly what you want rather than browsing.
