Caffè Nero

I don’t mind Nero’s — to be honest, they serve a purpose and at least you know you’re going to get fairly decent coffee in a relaxed setting.
Ok so this one in Didsbury Village is always very busy and full of mums (maybe ironic me saying this with 2 kids… hey, this isn’t a criticism :-)) and it’s popularity is due to people knowing what they’re going to get and not going too off the tried and trusted radar and getting into the ‘real’ coffee world. There’s loads of independents around here so personally I’d always make the effort to go somewhere with a bit of charm.
The snacks are all a bit too sugary for me but I do quite like their waffles as a treat if I’m hungry.
