Baylis and Knight sell glamorous and classic outfits for women inspired by the 1950s and there is a talented team behind these creations.
However I have my reservations about this shop. The outfits sold here could easily be perceived as being a little tacky dare I say it. The collection I think this most applies to is the lace collection in pink and black.
There are other collections that are classic and the staff are more than willing to listen to your suggestions. Just not sure if this is one of my favourite independent shops in Manchester.

I have absolutely no concerns over the quality of the ladieswear on sale at Bayliss & Knight, my only concern is whether Manchester can up its game enough to provide a setting glamorous enough for it!
Seriously, seriously lavish stuff, stepping in this store is like stepping back into the art nouveau world of the 1930’s!
From cocktail dresses to corsets to evening and ball gowns, this place is like a Hollywood golden age memorial site.
Shrinking violets need not apply!
