All Saints

This trendy store is definitely worth a look into for the new fashion and the high-​end trends. The price range is very high in comparison with other places but the quality is exceptional on all of their products. The interior is not what you would expect with a number of sewing machines on the shelves but the rustic interior with the number of shelves, easily set out, make it easy to look through the racks with of course the usual variety and choice of garments.

Ahhh All Saints, I’m in the camp of people who don’t really get it but can totally appreciate it. I have a friend who, if this brand was a church, would totally worship here, now she is an addict.
The outside of the store just plain announces itself, and has one of the biggest impacts on Market Street all lights and Broadway like.
Walking inside is a really strange mix of military, gothic, flowery picnic pattern girly, stylish macho urban skinny, it’s a mish mash of the moody and the brightly patterned.
My friend is always harping on about the quality of the product here, quality, it’s the quality, yeah well if I’d have shelled out what she did on an All Saints leather jacket I would be expecting it to last too.
It’s an interesting shop that isn’t Topshop, and it’s slighty alternative to the mainstream Topshop clothing styles without being downright emo or goth or whatever, it’s cool and acceptable alternative highstreet.

This All Saints is conveniently situated on Market Street at the entrance to the Arndale Centre.
It is a striking looking shop front with floor to ceiling sewing machines in the window (cool).
Downstairs seems to be permanently bustling with young arty-​types perusing the lovely clothes and wares (which are on the pricey side, I probably prefer Urban Outfitters). Staff are friendly but the shop is usually pretty busy.

All saints, you either love it or you hate it. Inside every store it looks like the interior of a 50’s bar with big halogen lightbulbs flashing everywhere, there electricity bill must be through the roof! But you can understand where they get the money to pay for it, I once watched a friend spend 100 pounds on a jumper, you’d think it was made of Kevlar or had an ultra thin stab jacket concealed within it, but no it was just a flimsy piece of cotton.
Recently all saints seems to have swept the nation with its rip off clothing, lots of folks like it, they like the little rams head symbol on everything and the leather bits of all the clothing, personally I hate it. What a f*****g rip off?

I like the clothes in All Saints but the caveat I that this only applies to the clothing for men. The clothes for girls are crap! It’s like two years ago they came up with one weird shaped dress that flatters no female form and have since rolled out every variation possible.
If you do buy anything else it tends to fall apart, lose its buttons, shrink and what does All Saints do about it? Nothing, not even a refund. What they do give you is vouchers… to spend on silly shaped dresses in their shop again, thanks All Saints.
If you are a man/​boy/​lad I would recommend this All Saints as it is the biggest of all of the All Saints in town and therefore has a bigger range. The staff are very friendly compared to some of the staff I have snooty horrors I have encountered in other All Saints shops.

With its gloriously gloomy décor, moody looking yet quietly chipper and eternally helpful staff and military gothic clothing All Saints is a real favourite of mine.
This particular store is probably the biggest of the city centre outlets and definitely the most youth aimed.
Its Market St location ensures a constant flow of customers everyday of the week but it never feels too crowded and you will always get a changing room– but do you really trust yourself to try something on without making that purchase that takes you over you card limit?
Oh you do? So you’re one of those ‘sensible’ people are you? Well screw you, it’s my life and I’ll upset as many bank managers as I please!

Fantastic looking clothes but the price tags can be quite a shock! Before you walk into the All Saints store you’re mesmerised and drawn in by the name in lights, it gets you like a moth to a flame.
At the moment a lot of the womens clothes are beaded and sparkly which is gauranteed to catch my attention though on closer inspectionyou do wonder how long it would be before you snagged your £150 dress and all the beads fell off, examples of this happening can be found in amongst the rails.
The clothes are interesting and well cut, many dresses are very much inspired by Vivienne Westwood and though the prices may be high they’re not Vivienne Westwood high.
Basically the store looks fantastic, the clothes look great but they probably don’t quite justify the sky high price tags.

All Saints is one of those wannabe designer stores without quite making it. It’s high-​end in price, but has never quite transcended the huge barrier between high-​street and designer (but the price tags would belie this last point).
Upon entering the store, a smiling shop assistant has always greeted me, though I suspect this is through Mystery Shopper fear than genuine friendliness. The Market Street store has a nice feel to it, making it easy to browse the clothes and everything is organised on slightly rustic looking racks. The garments themselves vary from lovely to downright awful and some of the sales staff are always dressed at either end of the spectrum.
The prices are unashamedly high for something you could get elsewhere, and the sales assistant frequently seem to be gossiping rather than helping out customers. That said however, when you ask for help, one of the sales assistants will gladly help you out and offer their opinion, which is a rarity in clothes shops nowadays.
