All of our garments are manufactured on the premises in our workrooms in Pendlebury, Manchester.

History

Established in 1979.

The business was started by brothers, Alan and George Little, who shared a passion for fine English tailoring. The business charged direction during the nineties and began to specialise in the niche markets of sporting and country clothing including equestrian, hunting and shooting. The company now includes Alan’s wife Margaret and both his son’s Mark and Carl who aim to take the family business forward for the next generation.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Mark started working at Alexander James straight from school and went on to complete his City & Guilds qualification in clothing technology at Jacob Kramer colege in Leeds. He now helps run the company with his brother Carl along with Margret, Alan and a small team of employees.
