If I can I’ll leave them minus-5star They checked my registration number from their system and supplier the parts to me. Return the parts next day due to the parts is different /not fit but the REFUSED to refund. Advice:-Do not pay cash cos you wouldn’t get your money back if any thing happened. I make wrong decision by paying cash to saving on VAT. End-up losing £200. Now the case is with Trading Standand hope I can get my money back. Good luck

A1 Jap Dodgy Dealers? Care needed I recently obtained a quote online from A1 Jap for a Yaris driver’s door mirror via 247Spares. They emailed me a quote for £42 and reconfirmed this as the full price when I phoned. The part arrived and is as described. The paperwork with the part again quotes the total payable as £42, but mysteriously the Visa counterfoil records £47 as having been charged. I have requested a refund and await with interest the outcome. Unless I receive one I certainly won’t use A1 again or recommend them to anyone. Only buy from them if you can visit them directly and pay over the counter. It could have been an extra £500. 11 February: There has been a sequel. I’ve received no direct communication or apology from A1 Jap. However, I warned them by email that if I did not receive a refund by 1 Feb, I would contact Visa, which would affect their creditworthiness. I heard nothing. I duly wrote to Visa on 1 February, reporting a fraudulent transaction, sending photocopies of the relevant documents and asking for a £5 refund. I note today from my Visa statement that A1 Jap Spares has credited my account with £5. 1 – 0 to O’Shea I think. Treat with extreme caution any statements made by these people on the phone. Trust has to be earned. This will certainly have cost them a lot more than £5 worth of business. ‘Milo O’Shea’
