History

Established in 2011.

Founder of Sheabeutimia, Jo Minta’s journey into manufacturing of natural handmade products all started when she began researching into the contents and ingredients of major products she was using at the time for her skin and hair. Unbeknown to her, she was using some very dangerous and harmful stuff which she only realised after her research. This gave her the passion to research more with the aim of sharing her knowledge to enlighten others. She succeeded in this and began blogging about her gospel on using natural products for the hair and after a while led to the birth of her own business and brand Sheabeutimia.

Jocelyn Minta (Mrs) affectionately called Jo, is a mum of two strong boys and soon to be three :), a wife to a sweet & loving husband, an author, a freelance writer and a blogger who loves to give back to the community and share her knowledge and ideas on hair, skin and natural handmade cosmetics.

She has years of Extensive Training and Experience in Cosmetology. She is currently in her final year pursuing a degree programme in BSc HRM from the University of Leicester (UK). She combines this so well with the management of her Sheabeutimia business in fulfilling customer demands and has over the years successfully built a clientele she tirelessly attends to all around the globe.

She holds a Diploma in HRM and a Certificate in Training Practice & HRM from the University of Leicester (UK), Diploma in Travel & Tourism from the University of Cambridge (UK), a Diploma in Travel & Tourism from IATA/​UFTAA Montréal (Canada), Vast experience in Hair care and continually attends & updates hers
