This little back street pub is as good as it gets, a proper pub. The landlord and landlady make you feel right at home with there friendly chatter and banter, they offer a wide selection of beers, 4 ales and 3 lagers, a fine selection of wines, spirits and bar snacks. The ambiance is chilled, TV only comes on for major sporting events, other than that it’s back ground music and good chatter, the locals make you feel very welcome and always offer good conversation, every month the pub offers live music on a selected Saturday night which always draws a crowd and good atomsphere. So if you fancy a rustic traditional pub on the fringe of town, come here, you won’t be disappointed.
