The food gets 5 stars and the atmosphere a 3. However, the owners, who are extremely friendly and attentive, make up the extra star. The food is only better in the best restaurants in Italy and a third the price. Leonardo cooks everything himself, so if it’s busy, get a bottle of wine, relax and expect a wait. We had the calamari, risotto maraiano, linguini and clam sauce and penne arabiatta, which my travel partner said was the best he’d ever had. The risotto was fantastic. The calamari was geared toward the English palate. Decent, but unimpressed. Bottom line, I would absolutely recommend Mona Lisa, even if you have to travel a bit out of the way.

Perfect mom and pop place. The red sauce was crafted to perfection, not acidic at all, definitely from scratch, the risotto was also perfectly done not too hard or over-cooked. Just awesome flavors. Various selection of italian food, and great Vegetarian dishes.

I have to agree with the previous review. We tried it and we wouldn’t go back. I’m not sure what was wrong but it just didn’t match up to the local competition.

We spent a bizarre night in here recently. It was very quiet and although the food was good, it certainly didn’t live up to expectations. Overall lacking in atmosphere and wouldn’t visit again.
