I like EasyJet.
In fact I had 5 flights in one month and all of them went as smoothly as could be.
The staff are wonderful. Even the people telling me my bags were overweight did it with a tinge of regret.
Everyone speaks excellent English.
For me I had to choose between trains with lots of luggage or quick 45 minute flights with not having to mess with suitcases.
Glad I flew EasyJet.

Terrible experience with this airline! I had a cancelled flight 3 months ago and they still have not given me my refund. Horrible customer service, no direct contacts or responses to email. If I could give 0 stars I most definitely would!

I just flew Easyjet for the first time and will never fly it again.
On my way to Europe I paid in advance for a checked bag. I flew from the US to London to Italy. I flew another airline from the US to London and when I landed I went to my new gate to board my Easyjet flight. The gate agent told me I’d need to re-​pay for my checked bag since I was handing it to her at the gate. I explained I had arrived from an international flight and had not been outside of security. I was forced to pay $ 65 anyway. It’s a ridiculous policy to expect that I would go through immigration and customs to get outside airport security to drop off my pre-​paid bag and go back through security to make my flight.
On my return flight I took only one bag with me. I wasn’t sure I should check it or if I could carry it on so I spoke with the ticketing agent who said no need to check it, it’s a fine size for carry on. When I arrived at the gate I was told my bag was too large for a carry-​on. I explained I had asked the ticketing agent about my bag and had been told the size was fine, but the gate agent charged me anyway. I had to pay an additional $ 68 to check my bag!
If you are trying to save money Easyjet might be a nice option but honestly I had to pay over $ 150+ in bag fees and for that kind of cash I should’ve just booked with a real airline. Lesson learned.

I probably would have forgotten to review them — again — but it is time to memorialise the, umm, service I received on EasyJet.
On this outing, I headed to Italy. The booking process was no problem. I got the flight times I wanted and seating on the return flight. The seating on the outward bound is where I had an issue.
Oh, I booked in an emergency seating row — no problem, I’m ok with that — what I am not ok with is what occurred in that row and surrounding rows.
I purchased some food to take on-​board (as so many of us do) and I had done this previously. No problem you say. Well, EasyJet staff say different… at least to me they did.
While waiting for take-​off, I had my bag (BAG –not box, crate or small whale) in my lap. I noticed many travellers around me had bottles of water and food also in their laps. Also the couple seated next to me with 2 bags of fruit, books and water bottles — all in their laps. Hmmm… staff came through to advise me I could not have the bag on my lap in that row. Really? Well, I waited for her to tell my neighbours the same but she did not. I said it’s only a sandwich. She said nothing can be in your lap or under the seat in this row. My neighbours and surrounding passengers continued munching, drinking (some not, just holding items in their lap). What was going on here? Why was my 1 sandwich bag an issue but the smörgåsbord around me was ok? She did not move. Told me I had to find overhead space to stow it. I said I would put it in the front seat pocket and she was ok with that. Why? Why was that ok yet she moved right on down the line without even a glance at the other passengers with the same if not more items on their laps; especially those two next to me — also in the emergency exit row and they were nearest the window!?!
I am always leery of EasyJet because they are not consistent. With anything!
Did I mention, she also had an issue with my jumper that I put on the floor at my feet? Yes, my neighbour had a jumper which he took off and put on his lap but nothing was said about that. I was told to stow my jumper or put it on.
Make of this review what you will. I make it out to be rude, inconsistent if not, downright unfair, umm, service. I bet if they read this review they won’t even find anything noteworthy in it.

I paid for a ticket, when i got to BCN airport and was told I have to stand by, because the flight was over sold. why I should take responsibility for their activities? it is so weird.
the most weird thing is: they do not take any actions to cover the over-​sold, they do not broadcast volunteers who’s schedule are move flexible, I did not know they pick me up randomly or because I arrive at airport later than others? when I approached to their counter and asking they why they do not ask volunteers to change flight, they answers that was their company’s rules.
so rush fast to get your seats, no matter if you have fully paid for your tickets or not.

This airline is cheap and cheerful. Staff are friendly. Clean inside as well. Only thing I don’t like about Easy Jet is that you have to pay extra to take luggage on with you and that you don’t get to see a film whilst flying and you have to pay extra to eat or drink on the plane. So after paying all that might as well just pay and go on a different airline with everything included.

Very good low budget airline! Flown with them probably over 15 times, last was Geneva-​Barcelona. I never had any issues, staff are friendly and happy. Will use them again

The terrible policy of ONE bag per passenger carry-​on (and that means ONE) is so absurd, so thoughtless, and created such anxiety for the passengers on our two flights last month. It was really inexcusable. We saw one passenger DESTROY the zipper on their suitcase in a desperate effort to reduce the carry-​on to ONE. Mind you there is plenty of space to place one item under the seat and one reasonable item above. But for some reason this foolish airline chooses to abuse their clients. We saw one passenger, in a failing effort to reduce the length on his suitcase by one inch KICK the wheels off his suitcase, plastic debris flying everywhere at the EasyJet gate, passengers either frightened at the violence or cheering him on. I would never fly EasyJet again if I had a good choice. There is NO generosity from this airline whatsoever.

My daughter and I were denied boarding on our 8am flight because the airport agent said we were 2 minutes late, when the entire time we were standing in line waiting for someone to show up at the counter. We then were told the agent was at another counter chit-​chatting. The agent was extremely rude and since we were denied boarding even though the flight was not leaving for another 38 minutes and to get to the flight takes about 5 minutes (the airport is extremely small), I was told I had to purchase 2 new tickets for the 7pm flight, it obvious that I wouldn’t spend not one more penny n EasyJet therefore I went and paid for 2 new tickets on British Airways and left at 10am. I have emailed back and forth with the main office and they are refusing to refund the money. This is the worst airline by far that I have encounter in my life. I am a travel agent and will never recommend it to anyone.

In no way does EasyJet compare with JetBlue. JetBlue is a million times better!
I flew EasyJet from Berlin to Luton. I couldn’t check-​in online despite repeated attempts. I found out when I got to the airport that I couldn’t check-​in because the plane had too few seats for the number of passengers so they were kicking people off. I got put on a flight several hours later.
But the worse part was the follow-​up. I emailed to get the EU required refund. No reply so I call and after giving them my credit card number, was told I didn’t need to do anything further. Days later I get an email saying they again needed the last four digits of my credit card. I send it but nothing happens. Two weeks later I get a voicemail saying I should call. As every call is an international one that costs money, I emailed. No reply. Weeks later, I email again. They say they have been trying to contact me? Not a single email in my box.
Only after I write months later, do they tell me they had problems processing the refund on my card — that’s true because I had to cancel my card when my husband misplaced it. But why didn’t they process it right away the first time? And why don’t they tell me they had problems until months later when I write back to them???
I call again, give a credit card number. Nothing. I email multiple times.
Now it’s been almost a year and I still don’t have the refund.

It’s cheap and I normally don’t complain when you get what you spend. But attempting to hassle and make people pay for luggage that is normal for one to bring on a plane is stupid. Humans aren’t sardines I wouldn’t ride with them if your above 200lbs or you will be highly uncomfortable. I wouldn’t complain had it only been one bad experience but I’ve flown with them twice and learnt my lesson not to do it a third time. Customer service needs some work and that’s from telephone in person and email. Also if your boarding a flight in London England it would be great if the employees could speak English

They changed the airport of our flight and didn’t inform
us in any way (no email, text etc). We learned this only after reaching the airport. They offered us another flight which was 5 hours later and at another airport in Rome. An entire precious day wasted. We couldn’t do much in Rome as we were supposed to fly at 3. The only option was to rot at the airport for 5 hours! Never flying this airline again.

First, there is not option but to put a star. They deserve nothing from me. We flew from Frankfurt to Barcelona, one stop in Paris. The whole family traveled with 4 carry for a 19 days vacation in Europe. We were asked to pay € 140 for baggage. Each piece of luggage weighted less than 11kg — 24 pounds! Then, the explanation on the baggage ticket could paymbe interpreted like it baggage payment covered roundtrip. It didn’t. We ended up at paying € 280-​US$ 420 for 45kg-​99lbs. I was so mad! We know they are cheap and we didn’t care about snack on flight but this can ruin someone’s vacations. I understand they have smaller planes but people fly from everywhere so they must warn you in BIG PRINT the size of their carry on that is 50×40×20 cm. That is my son’s backpack for 1^st. Grade… empty.
Never again. We are done with EasyJet.

I have been flying EasyJet for years, despite their flights being consistently late. I have had many delays plus even one canceled flight but I still stuck with them. But now I have had it.
Our flight from Bordeaux to Luton was five and a half hours late. The ground crew didn’t even know why the plane was late. Then, I only received a text to the delay at the airport, 50 minutes AFTER the flight was supposed to take off. They provided a ‘light refreshment’ voucher of € 9 which could only be spent at the sole food concession stand in the new Billi hall which was still under construction in Bordeaux. An average sandwich cost € 5 and a bag of crisps € 4! This pretty much just added insult to injury as we were stuck eating this horrible food in a terminal that was essentially a shoddily constructed hangar outside the main airport.
We boarded at 10pm. I would have at least expected a free drink (it doesn’t even need to be alcoholic!!) but they offered us nothing.
I never thought I would say this but I would rather fly Ryanair.

Wow, I’m glad I didn’t check Unilocal before booking our one-​way flight from Edinburgh to Prague. I hadn’t ever heard of EasyJet before looking into options, but it kept coming up in my searches, and they always had the best price (depending on the day of travel, of course).
I got the sense from the site itself that this airline would be the equivalent of a JetBlue flight — cheap airfare, but everything else would cost me. And in that, I was right.
We paid to sit together. We paid to have our bags flown to Prague with us. They wanted us to pay for other things along the way, but we declined.
Though they charge for every hold bag you plan to bring with you, and though they have restrictions on weight, your allowance can be spread among all your bags, so if you have one very heavy one (like us), you won’t pay an overage if your baggage weight is less than the total allowed.
Did that make sense?
I downloaded the app and synced everything up prior to even leaving the United States. I had received an e-​mail about a month before we were set to travel, telling me that check-​in for the flight was open. That was unheard of, but I took advantage of that by checking in from San Diego.
I then used the app and the site to update our baggage information, and to verify all the pertinent details.
The morning of our flight, we got to the airport super early because we wanted to make sure we got to the gate with enough time to spare. We had heard all kinds of horror stories about how airlines like this will close the gates and not allow passengers on board, and we were not trying to have that happen to us.
Upon entering the airport, we quickly found the counter for EasyJet, and headed towards the self-​check kiosks. We had three hold bags in total, and used the kiosks in conjunction with the app on my phone in order to get everything properly checked in. It went smoothly for the first two bags, but when we got to the big one, it printed out our tags, but then gave us an error. We walked up to the first person we saw and told her what happened; she told us we needed to go to the counter.
At the counter — with all three bags in tow — we told the agent there what had transpired, and she ran our tickets through to see what had happened. If she found out, she didn’t share the details with us. But what she did do was verify that everything was in order, and took our bags for us, before letting us know where we had to go to get to our gate.
The wait at the gate wasn’t terrible. They opened the doors on time, and directed us to the correct boarding location once we were through.
The flight was smooth and on time. It was a bit jarring, though — the first announcement made over the intercom was not in English, and it was the first time I actually felt like we were in a different country while on this trip.
Maybe our experience was out of the norm, but I have no reason to hate on this airline. The service, the pricing and the accountability was just fine for us.

Booking alone was miserable. Wanted to book a one way, took forever to figure out how to… spoiler alert: on the last page… you just have to pretend you will fly back for most of the booking and then at the last minute cancel that flight…
Speaking of cancellations… i tried to cancel said flight in less that 24 hours (spoiler alert #2, you can’t do it online, you have to call easy jet — you’ll have to google their phone number because its not on their website) and got a whole 14 pounds back as my refund… hahahaha! really? Less that 24 hours and you cant cancel it like every other airline? I asked if they every give full refunds… the customer service rep was very honest and gave me a NO as an answer.
Not worth it. Too much hassle and work and stress and reviews are pretty horrible… i’d rather pay the extra 50 to be stress free

They is not many airlines, I would avoid people to avoid at all costs, so much so that you should pay more not to fly with them, but Easyjet is that airline.
The first time I flown with them was to Madrid from Liverpool and back, towards the end of July 2014 I had a flight over to Madrid and everything was very good however my return flight was the worst flight of my life!
Originally the flight was delayed, what I found out was due to aircraft maintenance, after calling us to the gate this was unsettling, especially with the aircraft looking like it was struggling to set off and making a funny noise most of the way their.
That isn’t all of it! I wanted a nice, gluten free meal, I originally tried the soup but I found that watery and horrible on my flight to Madrid but on the way back to Liverpool, I noticed cous-​cous on the menu, so I pointed it out and asked if it was gluten free. The Stewardess told me it was, I didn’t think she checked because she quickly gave it to me, she had made it and when I looked at the packaging I saw it contained 65% wheat.
For a big airline at easy jet to make a mistake like this what could of gave me some nasty symptoms, I am shocked and I have given 1 star for less serious cases than this but Easy jet defiantly deserves 1 star, even less, worse yet they did not reply to the letter I sent them and hung up on me after I phoned their customer service line!

Ich fliege 3−4x jährlich und bin auch gute Airlines von StarAlliance gewöhnt.
easyjet gebe ich 4 Sterne, weil es hier um das Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis geht. Für den Preis müssen eben Konzessionen gemacht werden und es ist nicht vergleichbar mit einer Gesellschaft die das Dreifache kassiert.
Beim Buchen habe ich für den Flug nach London hin und zurück 30 Euro für den Koffer bezahlt. Dieser Preis gilt nur beim Online-​Vorab-​Buchen. Am Schalter wird es deutlich teurer.
Genervt haben mich lediglich die anderen Passagiere, die nicht für aufgegebenes Gepäck zahlen wollen, aber ein möglichst großes Handgepäck gratis mitnehmen wollen. Dies ging auf Kosten der Mitreisenden, die lange anstehen mußten und für die dann kein Platz mehr im Fach war.
Hier sollte easyjet die Maße des Handgepäcks deutlich reduzieren, damit diese Billigheimer nicht anderen zur Last fallen.

i ordered tickets for a weekend trip to london, easyjet were cheaper than the other airlines but not by much. with easyjet you have to pay sxtra for luggage and they land out i Gatwick.
after paying for luggage and the trip in to london it ended up being more expensive than flying sas on the same trip.
in my opinion the service are very low and, there are very short distance between the seats so as a 185 cm i were severely cramped, both planes were delayed.
the way easy jet cut costs are trough the airport handling, the worse the gate the cheaper flight.
in cph you have to walk 20 min to get to the easy jet gates and coming back the you have to walk the same way and then head to the furthest baggage carousel.
in my experience easyjet isnt easy and when comparing prices remember to take the additional costs in to account. it ended up being more expensive than a trip with sas or ba who have a lot better service

Ich als Vielflieger kann eigentlich nur eins zu Protokoll geben: Kundenunfreundlichste Airline.
Ständig Durchsagen mit Androhungen nicht befördert zu werden wenn man sich nicht an deren Regeln hält. Billig ist sie auch nicht. Es kostet jedes auch noch so kleines Detail extra. Nicht einmal ein Stück Gepäck ist inklusive. Ich habe für einen aufgegebenen Koffer 60EUR extra bezahlen müssen! Der Flieger hat dann einen Sitzabstand wo selbst ich Platzangst bekomme. Die Sitzlehnen lassen sich nicht neigen. Es gibt nicht einmal Wasser umsonst im Jet. Es ist schon echt erstaunlich das man für den Toilettengang keine 50 Cent berappen muss. Unter dem Strich ist die Airline absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

It was my first time to use Easyjet last weekend, when I was flying from Basel to Berlin-​Schönefeld. As it is a low-​cost carrier, I wasn’t expecting much. After all, it’s cheap, so you get what you pay for, right?
Check-​in opens 2 hours before your flight leaves, so if you arrive even 15 minutes before that (like I did), they would not take your bag. You have to print your boarding passes at home, as there are no kiosks available at the airport to print one. The good thing though is that you can check in several days ahead of your flight, so there’s definitely ample time to print your pass.
They do not use jetways; airplanes park at the tarmac and people walk up to it. That’s usually fine, assuming that the weather is cooperative. I could only imagine what it would be like to board when it is raining. The footpath from the airplane to the terminal is quite long in Basel, so you might end up soaking wet when one such occasion happens.
Anyway, the flight was smooth, boarding was smooth, and the seats were not too particularly cramped. In fact, I thought they were just fine, and in my experience, I had more cramped seats with a national airline from the Balkans than with Easyjet.
Oh well, it was okay, but not awesome. I’ll use them again, but they aren’t my first choice. This time, I used them simply because they were the only one offering a direct flight from Basel to Berlin.

Noch nie habe ich mit einer Gesellschaft, und ich hab einige Meilen auf dem Buckel, eine derart miese Erfahrung gemacht. Das Bodenpersonal auf beiden Airports stellt zwar Rekorde an Selbstverliebtheit auf, schafft es aber nicht über einen guten Service auch nur annähernd nachzudenken.
Genervte, fahrige, augenrollende und vor allem unglaublich freche, respektlose Mitarbeiter sind hier in der Überzahl. Sie agieren am besten darin, wirklich alle guten Eigenschaften vermissen zu lassen. In Basel werden Gäste mit Speedy-​Boarding wie in einem zu engen Schweinestall zusammen gepfercht. Es werden unablässlich Ansagen gemacht mit denen man Fluggäste wie dumme Idioten behandelt. Der Dame am Mikrofon sollte man noch einen Stock in die Hand geben um Gäste noch einfacher zu drangsalieren. So lässt man dann auch die Fluggäste mit Speedy-​Boarding gemeinsam mit den restlichen Gästen, die natürlich in der Überzahl sind, gemeisam auf das Vorfeld losrennen.
Beim Rückflug in Amsterdam sind dann für 9 Maschinen 4 Schalter geöffnet, durch das Gedränge, viele Fluggäste waren vielleicht leicht verspätet, fallen dann auch gleich Absperrunge um, und eine Mitarbeiterin die unentwegt Berlin, Berlin schreit auch gleich noch darüber. Die Damen an den Schaltern sind an einer schnellen Abfertigung nicht interessiert sondern nur daran bei Fluggästen Übergepäck zu beanstanden und zu kassieren. Einen der Mitarbeiter hat augenscheinlich der unkontrollierte und beängstigende Andrang an seine Grenze geführt, er hat den Schalter einfach kopfschüttelnd geschlossen.
Ein Mitarbeiter einer Airline der mit Kollegen vorbei läuft kommentiert (ich darf übersetzten): Hier geht es ja wieder wie gewohnt drunter und drüber (dies galt auch für die Absperrungen), die sparen einfach an qualifiziertem Personal ! Die ganze Situation war beängstigend und für ältere Reisende nicht mehr zumutbar.
Es sollte aber doch gerade die Grundübung einer vernünftigen Transport-​Firma sein, solche Situationen auszuschließen, woran es im Einzelfall auch liegen mag.
Und noch ein Hinweis, zum Zeitpunkt des Eincheckens für den Flug nach Basel um 19:30 Uhr, war der Basler Flughafen bereits seit 17:00 Uhr wegen starken Schneeverwehungen für alle an-​und abgehenden Maschinen für die ganze Nacht gesperrt. Die Airline hat die Information ihren Passagieren um 21:30 über Monitor Flug annuliert mitgeteilt eine weitere Katastrophe hat sich jetzt an 2 Schaltern angebahnt.
Und so tut man dann sein Bestes, einem das Wiederkommen zu vermiesen. So erkennt man dann auch Mitarbeiter von easyJet an dem bemüht gelangweilten Blick, angestrengt Verachtung für die Fluggäste vortäuschend und ihr saudummes Gehabe noch für cool und angesagt halten.
Viel Ärger für wenig Geld!

Wer mit Easy Jet fliegt, der möchte preiswert von A nach B kommen und jeglicher Service-​Schnick-​Schnack ist ihm zweitrangig. In den USA bin ich übrigens schon Linienflüge mit Delta geflogen, die weit unter dem Niveau waren, den Easy Jet als low cost Airline bietet. Nach all den Extras für Sitzplätze und sogar einer Gebühr dafür, dass man bezahlen darf, ist der Flug dann auch nicht mehr so unanständig preiswert.
Nach einer der neuesten Bewertungen der Flugsicherheit gehört Easy Jet auch zu den sichersten Fluggesellschaften der Welt. ut zu wissen. Noch nie ein Absturz.
Bin mit Easy Jet Switzerland im A 319 geflogen. Die Flugbegleiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, der Flug absolut ohne jeden Grund für Kritik. Nur die Sitzlehnen habe ich nicht bewegt bekommen. Auf meine Frage an die Flugbegleiterin, wie das wohl ginge, bekam ich mit sichtlichem «ist mir peinlich”-Gesicht zur Antwort, dass die neuen Flugzeuge von Easy Jet keine kippbaren Sitzlehnen mehr haben. Na ja, wahrscheinlich spart man durch den fehlenden Mechanismus ein paar Euro je Sitz. Oder — und dass würde ich der Airline zutrauen — demnächst kann man gegen eine Zusatzgebühr Sitze mit Kippfunktion buchen.

Alles okay freundlicher Service (am Check-​in-​Schalter) in Hamburg, keine Verspätungen, günstiger Preis.

Easyjet (EJ) kann ich absolut nicht empfehlen. Vor einiger Zeit ist auf einem Flug von Paris nach Hamburg ein Teil unseres Kinderwagens kaputt gegangen. Ich habe unmittelbar auf dem Flughafen den Defekt angemerkt und mir wurde vom Easyjetpartner, der die Abwicklung von Transportschäden übernimmt, mitgeteilt, den Kinderwagen reparieren zu lassen und die Rechnung an easyjet einzureichen. Ein Schadensaufnahmeprotokoll wurde ausgefüllt. Dieses haben ich nach der Reparatur des Kinderwagens nach ca 2 Monaten zu EJ geschickt. Hier verwies man allerdings darauf, dass der Schaden unverzüglich anzuzeigen sei. Das Schadensprotokoll am Flughafen wurde nicht als Anzeige des Schades akzeptiert. Die Reparatur wurde nicht übernommen. Nachdem ich im Internet recherchiert hatte und nur negative Berichte über EJ zu diesem Themenbereich (aber auch zu allen anderen Bereichen wie z.b. Erstattung bei Verspätung) fand, habe ich nach mehreren Mails aufgegeben. Auch die Schlichtungsstelle Luftverkehr schrieb mir zurück, dass EJ grundsätzlich Vergleiche oder Kompensationen ablehnt. Vor diesem Hintergrund halte ich EJ für eine äußerst unfaire Fluggesellschaft und bin seither auch nicht mehr damit geflogen (wohl das einzige was man als Konsument dagegen unternehmen kann).

Le vol s’est très bien passé mais à Paris lors de l’enregistrement l’hotesse nous a demandé 30 euros à payer en espèces pour nos 2 valises. Elle nous a demandé si nous souhaitions payer les 30 euros pour le retour.
Bilan lors du retour, la compagnie nous a demandé de payer à nouveau 30 euros puisque non enregistré à Orly. D’ailleurs, le paiement de notre bagage n’apparait pas à l’aller. L’hotesse a donc volé 60 EUROS à EASYJET.
Nous avons donc été victime d’une employée indélicate donc pensez à demander un justificatif de paiement.
j’ai fait parvenir un courrier à la compagnie. Ce courrier est resté sans réponse donc c’est une compagnie qui prend le client pour une tirelie.
En outré, s’il y a des problèmes à l’aéoroport les premiers vols qui sont annulés proviennent de compagnie lowcost.
je vous recommande de réfléchir avant de choisir Easyjet parfois les compagnies national né sont pas plus chères.

Aber wenn man nur mal kurz für billiges Geld von Köln nach London will, ist das völlig oK.

Plus LowCoast tu meurs: EasyJet se contente du strict minimum dans ses vols ! Alors ok les vols peuvent être vraiment peu cher (des allers retour à moins de 100e pour Berlin, Madrid et autres villes d’Europe) mais cela né peut justifier en aucun cas 2h de retard systématique ! Dommage, d’autres compagnies Low Coast rivalisent largement !

Easy Jet, die Homepage ist einfach schlecht gemacht und nicht gerade benutzerfreundlich, der Service ist eine Katastrophe, die Flugzeuge haben das Ambiente von City Bussen, die Bordmagazine sind zerfleddert, die Flugbegleiter erinneren mich an den dezenten Charme der Küchenbullen bei der Essensausgabe beim Bund. Also nach Möglichkeit mit einer richtigen Airline fliegen oder besser Bahn fahren, halt Junk über den Wolken.

Ich kann schon gar nicht mehr zählen, wie oft ich schon mit denen geflogen bin… zu oft wahrscheinlich.
Meine Meinung bei dieser Fluggesellschaft hällt sich in Grenzen, ich habe schon gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten mit easy jet erlebt.
Preislich ist easy jet (meistens) immer am günstigsten wenn ich mir Flüge raussuche. Deshalb fliege ich auch oft mit denen. Meine Flugdauer ist immer so ca. 2 Stunden, da kann ich das orange schon noch aushalten.
Aber oft, gerade auf deutschem Boden in Dortmund, habe ich schon soooo oft unfreundliches Bodenpersonal vor meiner Nase gehabt, dass mir da immer die Hutschnur geplatzt ist. Einmal habe ich sogar schon einen Beschwerdebrief an das Headquarter geschrieben und mich über die absolut unnötig arrogant/​unfreundliche sour faced Dame am Check-​In beschwert (naja, habe noch andere Punkte zu bemängeln gehabt) aber naja, was solls… Wenn easy jet mit cheap fliegen gleichzeitig cheap Personal und Service gleichsetzten…
Die «neue» Regel mit dem 1!!! Handgepäck ONLY find ich so ziemlich daneben und überflüssig, einfach nur nervig und das ist totale Abzocke.
Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich die letzten Male in Dortmund jedoch immer nettes Personal (gehe von jetzt an eh nur noch zu Männern) und jetzt macht das Ein-​checken auch mal wieder Spass.
Up in the air versuche ich eigentlich meistens zu schlafen, krieggar net so viel von dem ganzen Geschnatter der Steward/​essen mit, obwohl ich mir ja schon des Öfteren denke: mein Gott, orange steht ja nun auch nicht jedem. Macht nen ganz müd-​matten Teint!
Also Fazit: ich reise nur mit easy jet wenn alle Stricke reissen und nix anderes mehr geht.

Nun ja, easyjet beurteilt man wie alles andere auch wohl immer von seinem individuellen Standpunkt aus. Schon oft habe ich easyjet genutzt und ziehe es Ryanair absolut vor. Die Anbindung insbesondere von Berlin aus ist durchaus recht umfangreich und die Flugzeiten finde ich auch nicht ausserordentlich schlecht. Das die Flieger von Schönefeld abfliegen halte ich nun nicht für das grosse Problem. Denn easy jet fliegt wenigstens keine Fake-​Flughäfen bzw. ehemalige Militärbasen und und heftet einfach ein anderes Namensschild drauf.
Wenn man früh bucht ist der Preis durchaus gut und man nimmt dafür auch gern diverse Widrigkeiten in kauf. Die Preise für das aufzugebene Gepäck sind schon reichlich gesalzen, werden aber glücklicherweise immernoch in Pfund berechnet und demnach im Moment etwas geringer als vorher. Auch bei Easyjet gibts noch immer eine Toleranz von ca. 2 KG zur max. Masse, hängt aber wie so oft vom jeweiligen Personal am Schalter ab. Leider muss man ja oftmals wegen dieser schwachsinnigen Flüssigkeitsbegrenzung, die ohne Sinn und Zweck immer noch von der EU verfolgt wird und nicht wie geplant gestrichen worden ist, oftmals Gepäck aufgeben um wenigstens seine nötigsten Toilettenartikel auf Reisen dabei haben zu können.
Der Service hält sich wirklich sehr in Grenzen und leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit des online check in mit Gepäck, nur ohne! Früher gab es in Luton und Schönefeld entsprechende Baggage Drop off Automaten, die aber wieder abgebaut worden sind. So muss man wieder Stunden vorher da sein und mit Gepäck dann auch noch vor Ort einchecken.
Das immernoch keine Platzfestlegung erfolgt erschiesst sich mir nicht, ich kann den Kostenpunkt dabei nicht erkennen. So rennen die FlugmitINSASSEN dann um ihre Plätze. Plätze die wirklich nur das Mindestmass an Beinfreiheit zur Verfügung stellen, also für meinen speziellen Fall definitiv zu wenig, da mein Vordermann üblicherweise nicht die Lehne sondern mein Knie in seinem Rücken spürt! Hier muss ich einem meiner Vorredner wiedersprechen, die Sitzabstände in der economy bei der Lufthansa sind deutlich grösser, zwar immer noch nicht bequem aber halt eben auszuhalten. Ich habe es bislang glücklicherweise geschafft bei easyjet immer Plätze an den Notausgängen zu bekommen!
Den angesprochenen schlechten Service würde ich nicht so negativ dastehen lassen wollen. OK, die Damen und Herren sind zumeist nicht die erste Garde und die sehr unvorteilhaften Klamotten verschlimmern den teilweise traurigen Anblick noch, aber bislang war jeder ausreichend freundlich und hat seinen Job gemacht, mehr erwarte ich eigentlich auch nicht. Die Snacks und Getränke liegen preislich im durchschnittlichen Niveau, die Qualität aber auch. Jeder muss selbst entscheiden ob er hier was ordern möchte, ich würde mir aber lieber die Hand abhacken als einen dieser ekelhaften löslichen Kaffees in mich reinzustürzen. Aber wie gesagt, das trifft eigentlich auf fast jede Airline zu und ist Ansichtssache!
Na ja, wie ich schon eingehend sagte, man nimmt halt so einiges für günstige Flüge in Kauf ;-)
Insgesamt mein kurzes Resumeé: easyjet ist nichts anderes als ein Busunternehmen welches seine Fahrgäste von A nach B bringt. Nur bei easyjet fliegen die Gäste halt. Mehr sollte man auch nicht erwarten und das ist auch gut so! Generell ist ein Trip mit easyjet durchaus immer eine Möglichkeit mal eine kurzen Städtetrip mit schmalem Geld zu machen, und diesen plant man üblicherweise ja auch nicht von heute auf morgen!

Leider kann ich den positiven Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht folgen; ich finde easyjet immer wieder schrecklich, auch wenn ich die airline manchmal zugegebener Massen benutze, einfach weil es dann auf der jeweiligen Strecke ab Berlin keine Alternativen oder nichts Direktes gibt. Es fängt schon mit dem Flughafen SXF an; man fühlt sich wie in einer Jugendherberge-​bestenfalls. Das Publikum sieht teilweise dermassen abgerissen aus, daß man sich schon im Jakett fehlgekleidet vorkommt. Ausserdem hat man ständig auf der Hinfahrt zum Flughafen Angst, irgendetwas falsch gemacht zu haben, sei es beim Koffergewicht, beim Handgepäck, beim Online-​Check-​In der Bordkarte etc. Es wird einem ja mehrfach damit gedroht, aus allerverschiedensten Gründen vom Flug ausgeschlossen zu werden. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist einfach fluggastunfreundlich. Ich habe eine Verspätung in Berlin erlebt, wo unser Flugzeug einen technischen Defekt hatte und wir hin und her geschoben wurden auf diesem zur Zeit noch so engen Airport, bis einige Passagiere anfingen zu meutern. Es gab kaum Ansagen und auch keine Angabe von Gründen der Verspätung, aber wir sahen ja vom Warteraum aus zu, wie ein LH-​Techniker an der Maschine bastelte. Am Ende wurde das Flugzeug gewechselt, wir bekamen eine spät eintreffende andere Maschine– aber die offensichtlich in Berlin nicht zu Reparierende schickte man mit Passagieren nach London, dort ist die Wartungsbasisder Kapitän unseres Fluges erzählte dann, eine Bremse hätte nicht einwandfrei funktioniert! Von einem Bordservice kann ja kaum die Rede sein, das Personal (auch irgendwie Zweiter Klasse aussehend), ist ja hauptsächlich damit beschäftigt, diese furchtbaren und angsteinflössenden «Brace-​Ansagen zu machen (Kopf auf den Schoss bei Notlandungen) und ansonsten Mülltüten herumzuschleppen. Ganz schlimm waren die Zeiten, wo an Bord noch Glücksspiele veranstaltet wurden. Und mehr als ungeheuerlich empfinde ich die Tatsache, daß es an Bord der easyjet-​Flugzeuge keinen Defilibrator gibt, ein relativ simples Gerät, mit dem man Herzpatienten wiederbeleben kann– bei AirBerlin z.B. sind die auf allen Maschinen verfügbar, sogar die BVG (Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe) halten sie an den U-​Bahnhöfen bereit!-Zum Sitzkomfort (?) kann ich nur sagen, daß die neuen Maschinen jetzt alle mit nicht mehr verstellbaren Rückenlehnen ausgeliefert werden. Mit dem günstigen Flugpreis stimmt es auch nur, wenn man lange vorher bucht, hat man kürzere Buchungszeiten, steigt der Preis enorm und dann ist es vorbei mit billig– zumindest beim Preis. Auch daß die Koffer jetzt einzeln berechnet werden, finde ich ungeheuerlich. Ich habe wirklich nichts gegen Low-​Cost-​Airlines, aber easyjet und vor allem Ryanair sind schon eine ziemliche Zumutung. Es gibt auch andere Low-​Cost Carrier, die man durchaus mit der LH vergleichen kann– aber keineswegs easyjet.

Bin mit easyJet mehrfach geflogen und finde, dass diese vergleichbar mit Lufthansa in der Economy ist. Fluggerät war und ist zumeist die Airbus A319 mit den maximal erlaubten 156 Sitzplätzen. Sitzkomfort ist dadurch natürlich nicht Luxus, aber für die Streckenlänge absolut OK. Bordservice ist wirklich OK, auch wenn man einigen Flugbegleitern ansieht, dass sie einen harten Dienstplan absolvieren. Die Airlien wirkt professionell, Verspätungen gibt es auch bei anderen Airline sund man bekommt das, wofür man zahlt udn ich habe nie wirklich sehr viel gezahlt.
Vorteilhaft ist, dass easyJet von richtigen Flughäfen operieren, also Hamburg und nicht Lübeck etc.

Un mot de mon expérience perso d’easyJet ! J’ai fait plusieurs aller-​retour Genève-​Bruxelles et nous en avons été satisfaits. D’abord, les tarifs: vraiment intéressants, les horaires: respectés, l’accueil: courtois, l’attente: raisonnable. Il faut dire aussi que 1) J’avais pris mon billet des mois à l’avance, 2) Nous partions pour quelques jours donc avec chacun seulement un bagage à main (aux mesures exactes requises), 3) Les enfants étaient briefés: on fait pipi avant de partir, on né réclame pas de snacks dans l’avion, on reste groupés, 4) Le personnel de cabine n’était pas français donc aimable, 5) Le vol né dure que 1h10 6) Que nous n’avions pas pris d’ option supplémentaire.C’est comme quand on fait ses achats dans un magasin hard discount, on né peut prétendre aux mêmes produits que chez Hédiard ! Il y a eu toutefois une sacrée augmentation depuis l’année dernière: de 330 euros, pour 2 adultes et trois enfants ils sont passés à 460 euros! En voiture, c’est 9 heures (aller) et 300 euros, on est fracassés et je n’ai pas compté le prix du repas en route, seul avantage on peut emporter plus de bagages, quoique, à 5 dans la Scénic c’est déjà un peu le cirque Pinder.

La révision des avions easy jet est aussi parfaite que les avions normaux. Car pourquoi les avions low cost risquerait de faire tuer en vol plusieurs milliers de personnes a chaques vols ?
Bref !
Le low cost, d ou le nom est moins cher car le ménage est fait par les stewart ou hotesses, tout est payant si l on veut manger ou boire et les sieges et le confort né sont pas de qualité optimale comme pour les grandes lignes! Bien sur vous savez a quoi vous attendre !
Mais les avions sont niquels, la plupart d entre eux neufs.
La derniere fois que j ai pris l avion avec eux, il est vrai qu il y avait du retard, je crois, une heure et demie a attendre un stewart qui né venait pas ! mais c est pas grave, je me dis que je né paie pas cher, alors je né m attends pas a ce qu ils soient a l heure ou attendre un super confort !
Moi c est le prix qui m importe pour me petit porte monnaie !

Ce qu’il faut savoir:
1) LES BILLETS
— Peuvent se prendre sur Internet /​par téléphone /​au guichet easy-​jet. Il est fortement conseillé de les prendre par Internet, vous y trouverez les prix les moins chers.
— Sont intéressants au niveau des prix s’ils sont prix en avance (au moins 1 mois) sinon les prix sont équivalents aux autres compagnies.
— Vous pouvez imprimer directement votre carte d’embarquement chez vous si vous n’avez pas de bagage en soute ce qui vous permet de gagner du temps par la suite: une fois à l’aéroport vous allez directement en salle d’embarquement (oubliée la queue au check-​in qui peut être interminable!), vous pouvez arriver 15minutes avant le décollage de l’avion (au lieu de 40), vous êtes systématiquement dans le groupe d’embarquement A (cf l’embarquement).
— Vous pouvez prendre l’option speedy-​boarding plus (environ 8EUR) qui vous permet d’avoir une attente moindre au check-​in (guichet prévu pour les speedy boarding uniquement) et d’embarquer en premier.
— Si vous ratez votre avion, vous devrez payer la somme de 50EUR environ pour pouvoir prendre le prochain avion sans perdre votre billet. Si vous né faites pas de changement dans la journée, le billet est perdu.
2) LES BAGAGES
— Tous bagage est payant.
Votre billet n’inclut aucun bagage en soute.
Il vous faut préciser lors de l’achat du billet le nombre de bagage en soute que vous désirez prendre.
Sachez que si vous n’avez pas payé pour un bagage et qu’il se trouve que vous en avez un lors de votre venue au check-​in (enregistrement bagages) celui-​ci vous sera facturé le double du prix
A l’aéroport le bagage en plus est à 15EUR, sur internet il est à 6EUR.
–Veillez à respecter le poids de vos bagages en soute.
Vous avez droit à 20kilos/​bagage pour une personne.
Tout kilos supplémentaire sera facturé à 9EUR. Vous pouvez préciser sur internet que vous aurez des kilos excédentaires que vous payez au préalable à un prix inférieur que celui de l’aéroport (7,50EUR/kilos sur internet contre 9EUR/​kilos à l’aéroport).
— Vous n’avez droit qu’a un seul bagage en cabine par personne!
Le sac à main compte pour un bagage, l’ordinateur portable aussi. En gros tout doit rentrer dans un seul bagage cabine aux dimensions requises.
A savoir:
Le paiement sur internet d’un bagage supplémentaire né vous donne pas le droit d’avoir 20 kilos en plus.
Autrement dit, si vous avez payé pour deux bagages que le premier fait 20 kilos et le second 8 kilos, on vous facturera 8 kilos d’excédents (soit 72EUR).
Le fait d’être plusieurs sur une même réservation vous permet d’avoir plus de 20kilos dans un bagage. On dit que vous avez le droit à 20K/​bagage/​personne mais si vous êtes deux (sur la même réservation uniquement) et que vous avez un bagage en soute, celui-​ci peut faire au maximum 32kilos (au lieu de 40 car les bagagistes né peuvent pas selon la législation soulever des bagages de plus de 32kilos).
Mais encore
— Le check-​in ferme 40 minutes avant l’heure prévu du décollage de l’avion. En général personne né déroge à cette règle sauf si l’avion est très en retard (plus de deux heures) ou bien que le check-​in a pris de retard
3) L’EMBARQUEMENT
Mesdames et Mesieurs votre attention s’il vous plait, ceci est une annonce d’information Easy jet pour le vol n°. à destination de. . L’embarquement est prévu dans x minutes veuillez rester assis. Easy Jet appliqué un système d’embarquement par groupe d’enregistrement, vous serez invité à embarquer selon votre groupe d’embarquement et choisirez votre siège une fois à bord. Les passager du groupe speedy boarding seront invités à embarquer en premier (SB) suivi des passagers nécessitant une assistance ainsi que les familles voyageant avec des bébés de moins de deux ans (SA) puis les passagers du groupe A, passagers enregistrés en ligne et enfin passagers du groupes B. Nous vous remercions d’avoir choisi Easy Jet et vous souhaitons un agréable voyage.
Si vous avez déjà voyagé avec cette compagnie vous avez surement entendu cette annonce expliquant l’ordre d’embarquement. Ici on embarque par groupe et pas de numéro de siège.
Il est question de supprimer la priorité aux familles voyageant avec des bébés de moins de deux ans, pour bien sur les inciter à payer un speedy boarding
4) LE VOL
Low cost oblige, ici tout est payant et c’est franchement pas donné! Je vous conseille donc de prévoir quelques chose à mange à l’avance et d’acheter quelque chose à boire dans la salle d’embarquement (vous né pouvez pas les prendre de chez vous, les liquides sont interdits en cabine sauf ceux provenant de la zone d’embarquement du vol en question), ça sera sans aucun doute moins cher.
5) POUR FINIR
— Sachez que selon l’agent tout peut changer: celle-​ci peut par exemple vous laisser quelques kilos en plus gratuitement ou bien laisser passer les enfants qui ont plus de deux en priorité ou pas.
Cela dépend après des aéroports, des directives plus ou moins strictes selon les aéroport, du jour, de l’humeur!

dans la série j’ai testé pour vous, moi qui n’avais jamais voyagé en low cost, j’ai apprécié… modérément.À la différence de l’expérience de Wincent le retard fut modéré et grâce aux conditions climatiques le retard a été rattrapé, mais pour le reste c’est effectivement peu convaincant. les prix né sont pas si intéressants que cela quand on né réserve pas six mois à l’avance et du coup, tels des voyageurs naifs, on découvre que le bagage en soute se paye, ben oui, il fallait dire qu’on né part pour une semaine qu’avec un baise en ville. Passé cette première surprise, on est content tout de même moyennant paiement d’avoir le droit de voyager normalement avec un bagage en soute et on découvre les guichets sans destination précise en sorte qu’il vaut mieux arriver deux heures avant. Il vaut mieux aussi se présenter à l’embarquement tout de suite après l’enregistrement car là on découvre que les places né sont pas numérotées et que le blaireau dans la file qui grapillait des places savait qu’il pourrait être devant certes les genoux dans le menton mais devant!!! une fois assis dans l’avions après avoir échappé à tous ces moments délicieux, vous vous apercevez que pour le coup le service est d’un minimalisme sidéral, réduit à néant, le verre d’eau vous n’y avez pas droit, le bonbon pour éviter de devenir sourd par l’oreille bouchée reste à inventer. tout se paye et si vous avez une petite faim, vous pouvez attendre d’atterrir car les pistaches en sachet né nourissent pas totalement. bref, on s’en remet mais il faut vraiment né pas trouver d’autres vols le même jour et né pas être pressé pour se lancer dans l’aventure!

Ich finde EasyJet gut, eigentlich sehr gut. Es geht mir ja in erster Linie darum, günstig von A nach B zu kommen.
EasyJet ist im Vergleich zu anderen Airlines immer pünktlich, wenn ich fliege. Ich mag das orangefarbige Design von EasyJet. Orange ist meine Lieblingsfarbe.
Früher bin ich oft (vielleicht 6 Mal) von Bristol nach Hamburg geflogen. Auch vom Hamburger Flughafen flog ich nach Bristol.
EasyJet fliegt aber leider nicht mehr von Großbritannien bis nach Hamburg, deshalb fliege ich jetzt immer bis nach Berlin Schönefeld, jedoch nicht mehr von Bristol sondern von Liverpool.
Solange EasyJet überhaupt noch Deutschland anfliegt, bin ich happy.
Auch von Köln bin ich schon bis nach Liverpool zum John Lennon Airport geflogen. Andere Flüge waren Marseille, Malaga, Budapest, immer schön günstig. Je früher man bucht, umso günstiger sind die Flüge. Jetzt sollte man vielleicht schon für September buchen. Es gibt aber immer Angebote. Das man bequem alles online buchen kann, finde ich äußerst positiv. Es spart Zeit. Ich drucke mir dann nur noch meine Flugbestätigung am PC aus. Wie praktisch! Man kann sogar online einchecken. Das habe ich aber noch nie gemacht.
Ich lese gerne das EasyJet inflight — Magazin, wenn ich an Board bin. Manchmal kaufe ich mir etwas zu trinken.
Das Personal ist meistens freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Speedy Boarding ist für Ältere, Behinderte oder für Familien mit Kinderwagen eine gute Sache.
