History

Established in 1992.

Set up by keen cyclists Kay & Chris Dartnell in 1992. Our aim was to provide cycling holidays that everybody could enjoy — from families to keen road cyclists. Initially we concentrated on providing tours of 15 to 25 miles per day, and had to do a lot of encouraging of novice cyclists — but now we also provide challenging cycle tours for road cyclists of up to 50 – 70 miles per day. All tours are set in the English Welsh borders and Wales, with fantastic cycling, scenery, little traffic, great food and a warm welcome — its better than France!

Wheely Wonderful Cycling is based at Petchfield Farm, in the beautiful Teme valley, just five miles west of Ludlow. Postcoded Shropshire but actually in Herefordshire, and only six miles from the Welsh border. The original farmhouse dates back to the 15th century but the farm buildings were completed in 1856 and designed as a «model working farm».
