Arrived with 21 people for a pre booked party to find them not too busy. Service was really slow. Asked for children’s meals to be bought out with starters and had to ask 30 minutes later for them again. Food was ok. The worst thing about this place seemed to be that they had a lot of staff around but only 1 of them was left to serve us until we complained and they then sent another. When we had finished our main meal nobody came to see if we wanted anything else not even a drink so we all decided we would call it a day and asked for the bill. We pointed out to the manager that we were all very disappointed with the experience and he then offered to deduct the service charge, we then told him in no uncertain terms that we would not pay the service charge anyway as it is optional so he then offered to deduct 3 children’s meals from the total. We decided to give the service charge direct to the waiter as he had tried hard to keep things going. They will have to try a lot harder if they want this place to succeed and should review how many staff they need to 21 people.
