Zest of India is a fantastic Indian takeaway based in South London — one i’m sorely missing since moving out of its delivery area! You can order online, they deliver to postcodes: EC50, SE5, SE15, SE17, SE21, SE22, SE24, SW2, SW4, SW8 and SW9, and delivery is fast with hot hot food!
Zest are proud that their main chef has over 20 years experience in cooking quality Bangladeshi food, and you can really taste the quality. The curries are flavoursome, and not too oily. The more expensive components (meat, peppers etc) are not skimped upon. They serve rice in many guises — lemon, mushroom, coconut, all cooked perfectly and non sticky. All of the dishes we’ve sampled have tasted fresh, healthy and delicious. My partner and I highly recommend the stuffed naan, chicken balti and lamb rogan josh.
