Great location. They offer slushies for the kids and coffee and tea for the older kids. Gets crowded but they offer a lot of seating. Can get a bit messy because people should be clearing their own table. Nice spot to grab a drink and take in a great day at the base of the eye.

This café, with seating, is right next to the London Eye. The hot chocolates were ok. What I didn’t appreciate was the rippoff by the lady behind the counter. We were clearly tourists. When she gave me my change, she filled my hand with a bunch of small change. I’d given her a 20 Pound note to pay a 10.30 Pound bill. She gave me a 5 Pound note and a handfull of dimes, nickels, and quarters, with only a single pound coin. When I sat down to count it, I was a pound short. I went back up, but of course she had no idea what I was talking about. Suddenly she didn’t speak English, any version. There was no reason to stick me with all that change(I looked on the second trip to the counter, she had plenty of the right coins). She just wanted to pocket a bit of money off the tourist. She was our only ripoff during our London visit. But it needs to be called out. Be careful if stopping here for a quick snack.
