Zander

On arrival reception took our jackets and we were escorted to the bar where a bar tender with a huge was primed and ready to take our order. No knowing what I wanted he suggested we start with a glass of champagne while we choose — I like him already.
After retrieving two chilled glasses. Without asking which champagne I wanted, he filled each slender flutes with pink bubbles. The glint in his eye was defining me to say I didn’t like it, but he knew his trade and I was won over.
Talking us through each cocktail we stopped on, his knowledge was incomparable and decided to make a ambrosial creation just for us.
A waiter appeared from nowhere offer to take us out to the courtyard. He collected our drinks and usher us to a tranquil oasis. Was I really still in the middle of busy London town?
We sipped the remainder of our tall blushes and right on que, more was delivered in the form of our cocktails to seduce our tastebuds.
I feel it needless to say, but for the purposes of pen on paper, the entire experience was libidinous and left me wanting more.

While Zander is nondescript on the outside (a minimalist look that causes people not to be able to find it) the inside is tastefully modern and well appointed, the enormous bar (48 meters long according to the staff) being the obvious feature.
The bar, or the contents of it, is of course why I was here, and I was not disappointed, the cocktail list is superb, among the best in town, and the wine list is decent enough, with something for everyone. If you like crowds with your drinks go during the week, if not, turn up at the weekend for excellent service and a cool relaxing time.
