Paul Windle
Paul Windle began his career as a barber in 1980 with Vidal Sassoon, London. In 1982 he switched to ladies hairdressing and became a teacher at the Vidal Sassoon school. By 1984, he was promoted to principal of the Vidal Sassoon’s schools and academy.
In 1988, Paul left Vidal Sassoon and opened his own salon, Windle, in Covent Garden. Windle became synonymous with editorial hairdressing and the fashion catwalk. The salon has a strong reputation for directional hairdressing. Windle salon was awarded London’s best salon by Time Out magazine and both Paul and his salon have been featured in British Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and other major British fashion magazines.
Paul introduced Bumble and Bumble products to the United Kingdom and has been responsible for the growth and reputation of the brand in the UK.
Paul loves hairdressing as a craft and still finds time to cut hair in the salon.
