Wimbledon Racquets & Fitness Club is South West London’s premier squash, badminton & gym facility. It is fantastic value for money providing the perfect antidote to the stresses and strains of modern day life.

At the club we can help you relieve the pressures of work, vent your commuter frustrations, and allow you to reward yourself with some personal time. In terms of squash and badminton the club caters for all ages and abilities: beginners, intermediates up to and above county/​national standard players.

Play squash or badminton, either socially or competitively; realise the benefits from an active lifestyle by using the full range of cardiovascular equipment, free weights and resistance machines in the air conditioned fitness suite. History

Established in 1936.

The Wimbledon Squash & Badminton Club was built on its current site in 1936.

The Club was officially opened on Tuesday 26th January 1937 by Lord Ebbisham with an opening ceremony and exhibition matches in both squash and badminton. In August 1995 the new gymnasium, dance studio, reception area and shop were added to the Club to extend and improve its facilities considerably.

In December 2000 the Club refurbished the changing rooms adding saunas and the new fitness centre to the Club, in addition the Club re-​branded and changed its name to Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club

Further modernisation to the members bar and lounge areas were completed in 2003.
