The White Lion in Streatham is a chain free bar and restaurant with a big heart. The White Lion kitchen team is headed by Michelin rated chef, Gary Farquharson, serving food daily. A range of beers, fine wines and cocktails on offer with a private hire space for those special occasions. Friday and Saturday evenings are dedicated to partying with DJ’s and live music. Sundays are relaxed with fabulous food and chilled music provided by live performers or DJ’s.

Our Stables room hosts a number of community events — Music Workshops, Zumba, Pilates, Dance Classes, Fitness Classes and Mother & baby meet ups to name a few. The Stables room is also available for hire.

History

Established in 1895.

A public house has been located on the site of the White Lion for over 400 years. Our historic building was built in 1895 with the current management team in place since August 2014.
