Bought some live langoustines and line caught sea bass that was traceable right back to the boat and fisherman! Brilliant and knowledgable service. I used to go to FC Sopers in Nunhead as I have been for the last 10 years or so (since we lived in Peckham), but now will probably change allegiance as Pauline is just down the road! Can’t wait to go back for some more lovely fish and expertise!

great local fishmonger. Super fresh fish and the new owner has made herself a name for helping you rediscover fish and how to cook them.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Very fresh fish, straight from billingsgate. The owner was also very helpful, making recommendations, showing me what to look for in various fish, and even pulling out recipes for me.
(FYI, as of March 09, She’s open T-​Sa 9 – 5:30 ish, except wed which is a half day.)

Newley opened after a change of owner and just a gem of south London. A great family business with a great range of fish, seafood and personal expert service. I can’t see beyond the seabass and want to eat it again now (but that’s not fair on the sprats). West Norwood may not be your obvious food shopping choice but if it’s fish you need then now is your chance.
