I bought a pair of boots purporting to be standard British armed forces boots at lunchtime one day and found the soles had almost completely fallen off when walking into work the next morning. Based on this information, I would strongly advise anyone reading this to think twice about doing business with the proprietor of this store, as I feel that honesty is a non-​negotiable part of being a shopkeeper.

The nearest tube is Elephant, not Kennington. I confirm that he is very abrupt to the point of rudeness. I can’t understand how he’s managed to stay in business all these years, (at least 12 years to my knowledge but looks like it could have been there for 100) It’s often closed when I pass by. Shop is dusty smelly and dirty. Prices are about average but some things seem pricey. Some stock looks like its been there for many years. The area is Walworth, not Kennington

This place is not your typical surplus store. The owner who serves you is not very friendly and doesn’t let you browse– he want to know what your looking for so he can get it for you. He’s really rude and to the point though, so I think he just want to get rid of you as soon as possible rather that any wish to help you! The store sells the usual camo pants, lace up black boots, parachute bags etc and is good value. I wouldn’t shop here unless you know what you want!
