Stayed here for 5 nights while in London. Literally next door to the Shepherds Bush station, it is extremely convenient to the city. It is also next door to many businesses, restaurants and a mall… everything is within a 5 minute walk. When I first checked in, I had been awake for approximately 29 hours and was simply exhausted from the trip. They got me into a room on the main floor next to reception but the window was large, faced the train station and a street band was playing loud music which blared into the room making sleep impossible. I asked to be moved and was promptly moved up one more floor with a smaller window but still facing the train station(all rooms face the road and train station). The music was softened and I could handle it, so I kept this room. Room itself is small but very functional and charming. A small desk, double bed, two bedside tables, a small chair and a wardrobe are provided. Each room has a small but beautiful chandelier. The bathroom in the first room was small but the second room had a good sized bahroom which had a shower including a raindrop shower head, toilet and stand alone sink(no counter but a small shelf in front of the mirror above the sink). TV selection was limited but did not annoy me. The room amenities folder said that they had guest laundry service but when I inquired at the front desk, they said they didn’t have it. I then asked where the nearest self service laundromat was and they said about a 5 minute was down the road. Being this exhausted with full days didn’t allow me to get my laundry done myself so I had to wait to get my laundry done at my next stop in the trip(would be nice to see they remove this service in the room amenities guide because they don’t really offer it). Service was average. Sometimes I would be greeted upon walking in and other times I was not(perhaps they didn’t see me). Lots of stairs and no lift, so for people with a tough time with stairs, beware. I would stay again if I was on my own but it would be tight with another person in a standard room. Recommended.

Friendly staff, good décor, clean room and handy to everything despite its location because it is next door to the Central Line tube stop. lovely surprise! Behind the tube station is the Westfield Mall — very posh and lots of great dining options. small rooms and some London noise infiltrates, but it is the city. Great little hotel.

When you come to London as an American, it can be quite exciting and dreadful at the same time. Exciting because: Yay! You’ve made to one of the greatest cities in the around the world but then there is this awful dreadful feeling of overwhelming sadness when you see how high hotel rooms can be. Luckily there’s W12 Rooms. I really love this boutique hotel because its very stylish and modern but it also has an air of regal-ness along with a Victorian style to it without being overly priced. The hotel is literally one minute from the Shepherd’s Bush underground station as well as the bus station right outside the tube(subway) station. The Goldhawk bus station is also to the right of the hotel. Although I completely messed the hotel and walked around for like 5 mins, there is a sign that reads«Uxbrigdge St» as soon as you get off. There’s also several restaurants and local markets and smaller versions of England’s major groceries stores as well nearby. These include Sainsbury Local and then there’s a Morrison’s across from W12 in a tiny shopping center. The center includes Vue Cinema as well as 2 or 3 restaurants and two everything for 1 pound shops. Oh and I can’t forget Westfield Shopping Mall! Its less than a 5 min walk from the hotel if you have some cash to burn. Location was spectacular. Trust me folks, its rare you get that lucky with a hotel, EVER! lol. I would have given this place 5 stars because the service was exceptional and the rooms were exceptionally clean but the major drawback is the small rooms and the stairs. If you need to a lot of space this may not be for you but seeing as I’m in another country and want to explore I only use my room to sleep and get clean in. And all man the stairs… This would not be a good hotel if you have health issues or problems with walking. I love old buildings but consider another hotel if this would be an issue for you as there is no lift(elevator) in this hotel. Desk staff and bell hops were really friendly. They even let me store my luggage and called me a taxi since my check-in at my dorm was six hours from their check-out time. They also helped me with my bags. Overall an awesome option for a great hotel in an excellent location!
