Richard H Turner (Executive Chef of Hawksmoor) is an acclaimed restaurateur with an unwavering passion for food.
James George is a man who knows and loves his trade — he’s a keen advocate of traditional cutting methods and seam butchery.
There’s a bit of meat to their relationship. Together, they founded the East London Steak Company (one of the Independent’s 50 Best food websites, and runner up in the Observer Food Monthly Awards 2012, 2013 & 2014 for Best Independent Retailer).
With strong demand hammering at the door, it seemed only natural to widen the offering and so Turner & George was born. This artisan butcher’s shop is a haven for food enthusiasts, both online and over the counter.
