I’m a bit torn about this place. It’s really nicely done with wooden benches and earthy décor, but staff were reeeeaaaalllyyyy slooooooow. They’re friendly enough but really not attentive, it takes ages to even be handed a menu. I also had the feeling they weren’t listening very well, ordering was a very slow process with many repetitions. When the food did arrive, it was fantastic. I ordered eggs Benedict and they were perfectly poached, plenty of ham, delicious sourdough bread. So the food was awesome. However, my smoothie was terribly watery and tasteless. I get the feeling this place could be a hell of a lot better than they are if the staff would step up their game. Unfortunately, the way it is, I feep I can’t rate them higher than 3 stars.

The home of the worst juice I’ve ever tasted. My brunching partner’s apple, kale and lemon juice was lip puckering-ly lemony. Seriously undrinkable. My coffee wasn’t much better. The café has a cool, fancy looking coffee machine, but the coffee was less impressive. Burnt and lukewarm. Food — the only upside was the eggs were well poached. Mushrooms were watery, the mashed avocado had brown bits & the small pit thing from the top of the avo still in it(lucky I didn’t bite down hard on it!), and the hash browns were on par to McDonalds. Haloumi was reasonable, salmon was good. All in all below average breakfast joint. If you’re looking for a brunch of just poached eggs on toast with a glass of water to wash it down, then this place is for you.
