Travelodge in Wembley at Stonebridge Park… the only reason to stay there is because you have to. If you are used to living in a warzone, then it’s okay. If you do not mind drains that do not drain, and rooms without phones, then no worries! This hotel in Wembley is absolutely in dire need of repairs. Rating is overly pricey relative to what you get for your money.

This travel lodge is the worst I have stayed in and I’ve stayed in a few, I. Can only list faults as there is so many 1. Cold shower 2. No plug for sink(which had hot water?) 3. A stained ceiling 4. No bed side light(broken) 5 uncomfortable bed with two flimsy pillows 6 no maid service to replace tea and coffee(had to ask for it) That is a few of faults also there is the traffic noise from the north circular and the nearest tube is 15 mins walk away so heavy luggage is a no no . I also think one of the staff must have burnt some toast because we were woken by the sound of the fire alarm which was a great worry, but as no one seemed to be screaming and rushing about we ignored it. And are still here to tells tale. I must also add though the staff were lovely polite and welcoming its a shame they have to work in such a place they need big Christmas bonuses. X hope this review will be of help to others.

Do not go here. Your life may just depend in it! Don’t book if you are going to wembley, it’s a good 45 mins walk or a £10 taxi ride away, instead go for the premier inn or hotel ibis. Hotel is filthy, I mean absolutely rotten. It’s also about 3000 degrees inside so the smell is atrocious. Staff are rude. Even the reception staff are surley. I didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment. There is a car park but there are signs against using it because of lots if theft in the area. Save yourselves, it’s too late for me! There isn’t the opton for 0 stars or I would have used it.

The Travelodge at Wembley is one of London’s best kept secrets as it looks like an office block from the outside. The staff were really eager to help and gave us extra duvets and pillows on request. The breakfast in the Bar Café was relaxed and of a good quality with the kids eating free ! It was not noisy despite being on the North Circular Road and is a 15 minute walk to Stonebridge Park tube station on the Bakerloo line. The rooms were clean and bathroom immaculate with great views from our side of the building towards Wembley stadium.

My friends and I stayed here on a Christmas Shopping Trip to London last year. We chose it because of the bargain £26 rooms available so 2 nights for 3 people was only £52, fantastic! Unfortunately, the third sleeping space(2 people share the double bed) was basically an uncomfortable sofa. The room was located quite high up in the building but there was no problems with the elevators so getting to the room was easy. The hotel is not very close to the local Underground Station so when you first arrive with your luggage or after shopping in London all day, the trawl up the North Circular Road is not pleasant, especially in the winter. It’s also difficult to get public transport back to the hotel on an evening and a taxi may be required and it doesn’t come cheap from London City Centre. Thankfully, the hotel was clean and the rooms were warm. There’s plenty of seating downstairs where there is a café and a bar and a few TVs showing the News all day.
