It’s a good selection of hotdogs here but being a complete foodie obsessive bordering on crazy I’m forever searching for a hot dog place that will remind me of the legendary(now closed) Hot Dougs from Chicago. They make hot dogs sexy with a load of creations. It is unfair to compare. Top dog are their own breed(sorry). Firstly the service was faultless, perfect staff. Secondly the beer. They have a few good beers on sale. You know the hipster craft stuff that is all the rage. Last but not least the hot dogs. Has a BBQ and a chilli one. It was good. I really enjoyed. But, I can’t help but feel I wouldn’t pay for a hot dog like these for the price it is. A bit too much. I feel hot dogs should be a bit cheaper price point. Hot Dougs were dirt cheap(around £2.50! For simple ones). Hot Dougs also had some crazy versions like confit duck or even fois gras. I feel top dog is onto something but need to push some versions(specials?) more or drop the price for the standard type ones. It just didn’t feel fulfilling enough for the price. But hopefully they will evolve as time goes by. Promising concept.

Hard to give an accurate review of this place as we only stopped in for some very late night milkshakes. Bonus points for the face they were open when my unquenchable urge for milkshake kicked in however the shake itself was sub-par at best. Looked like a milkshake but tasted of boredom.
