Delicious Pan Asian restaurant offering an excellent takeaway service for collection or delivery. Tootoomoo arrived in Islington with woks at the ready in November 2014 to a truly wonderful response from an amazing community. We are a young, colourful and your-​health conscious food experience. We do takeout or collection and deliver quality food to your door. Our food is fresh, flavoursome and always made to order.

There are obvious friends on board like Thai Green Curry and Ramen Noodles. Our signature dish Miso Salmon is fabulously popular, as is the Vegetarian ‘Clay Pot.’ And of course they serve sublime Sushi. But our Executive Chef Ricky has brought his inimitable Grand Matriach’s secret twist to lots of his cleverly crafted dishes. The Rendang, either beef or chicken, is one such superb taste experience. Roast sweet potato and coconut bed slow cooked, moist meats to give you something extra special. Couple with rice for a tummy-​filler or add free range steamed veg for a clean finish. Talking of clean finishes, nothing rounds off a host of spice and taste like a cleansing Frae (fat free) Frozen Yoghurt.

We love to be involved in the community and local charities too. We will bring their deliciousness to your office; house or celebration. We cater parties, board meetings, school fairs — and cover most dietary preferences too with Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options on offer.

History

Established in 2012.

The desire to reinvent the take out was born in 2010 and Philip’s love for Asian Cuisine and Vietnamese style shophouses created the foundation for his idea.

Collaboration with Michelin starred Executive Chef Ricky Pang saw the realisation of a mutual dream.

Philip and Ricky worked their way up through the food industry ranks and earned their stripes at many a well known company en route.

Their compatibility grew from their passion for creating and delivering exciting Pan Asian dishes, flavour full and healthy to boot!

Philip really is becoming your ubiquitous man with a plan! A Pan Asian Plan, to be precise — hatched deep in his passion for Asian food he came up with the idea to reinvent the takeout. Frustrated by his experiences of Pan Asian dining and service outside of Asia he set about designing his massively Vietnamese influenced inaugural store.

And so far, it’s a hit.

He is passionate about fresh, organic foods; taste excellence and unparalleled service. He keeps an informal contact with his customers, a deep bond with his staff and is careful to listen to compliment and critique alike.

He is devoted to the community that has welcomed him in and he gives back in bucket loads.

In previous roles, Philip has been successful in identifying and investing in opportunities in the UK food and retail sectors. Philip is passionate about creating and delivering exciting Pan Asian dishes to our customers.
