Tony’s Fish Bar

This is the local fish and chips place and in the 2 years I’ve lived in this area I haven’t been to Tony’s Fish Bar once! Reason: It looked absolutely terrible and I was scared I’d get out there with a bad disease.
Now they have refurbished the whole place and it lookes lovely (for a fish and chips place obviously) It is only take away so no seating area or anything but that’s alright. I have only tried the chips so far and they were pretty standard and you get a loooooot of chips for 2 pounds!
I’ll come back for more as they also have burgers, kebabs, sausages and obviously fiiiiiiish!!! :D

best fish n chippy in the area. Great place to go after a heavy night of clubbing!

I like this place because they are very friendly and you always get a lot of food. On top of that their prices are really good too!
I personally don’t like Doner Kebab’s but my boyfriend does, according to him this place does them very well!
Normally I go for Chicken Kebab’s and I must say, that this is something they are not good at at Tony’s. They taste nice, but the chicken still has it’s skin left on them, which goes all slobby and it is not nice when you get this in your mouth. Also, their sauces are not very tasty either, taste kind of cheap.
Now back to the good stuff! The chips are massive and chunky, yum! The burgers are good and so are the red sausages.
The Cod is amazing too! One of the best Fish’n’Chips I have ever had! Since I am writing about it now I think I’ll have to pop over, made myself hungry!

Excellent… better than most coastal equivalents. Only had better in one other… Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall!
