This is a very friendly little drinking pub in the heart of Uxbridge(opposite the Chimes shopping centre and about 1 – 2 mins from the tube). The staff are very friendly and the alcohol is reasonably priced. We usually plump for a bottle of wine(£6.99 at the current rate), which makes for a cheap and enjoyable night out, especially when spent with friends. The interior is very old worldy, in the same style as an English country pub, but this adds to the ambience. A wide variety of ages use this pub from young to old and after a visit it is not hard to see why. They have a lovely seating area at the rear of the pub which is very nice in the warmer months. The toilets are quite basic though(Mens) and could probably do with a little upgrade.
