The real fish & chips! We wanted to have a good meal in the area but were scared to get scammed by an expensive touristy not-​so-​good place. I definitely recommend it. We ordered the Cod fish & chips.

The Fish & Chips were great. Nice place. Near all the theatres. The staff was a bit put off by my questions but they got the food out quickly.

As an American this place was a nice little taste of home but just a little. Not easy to find pubs loaded with sports and televisions like in the states and as a single business traveler preferred the company of TV to eating myself. The staff is incredibly friendly. Felt extremely welcome every time. A smile and a chat when the bartender recognized me made me feel like I was coming to my local pub at home.
They also have a decent menu with classic bar food and some British classics. Fish and chips was really good. First time eating buck rarebit and I love it!
All in all, great place to swing by to watch a match. Only gripe is I really wish they had wifi. But 5 stars for everything they knock out of the park. Especially the friendly staff.
