The Threading School is a mobile Beauty Training School specialising in one day Threading Hair Removal Courses. We are based in London Waterloo where we run most of our Threading Courses but we also carry out training on site at various salons and colleges throughout the U. K. We are accredited by BABTAC and all our customers therefore receive a professional BABTAC accredited certificate upon successful completion. We also offer a free optional refresher session a few weeks after the initial training– this makes us unique!

Threading Hair Removal is a safe and hygienic way of temporarily removing unwanted facial hair. We teach two types of techniques during our one day Threading Course: The mouth technique and Hand/​Scissor technique.

Our course consists of all the background information you need to know about Threading including advantages/​disadvantages, contraindications/​contra-​actions, health & safety, side effects, aftercare advise. We carry out assessments and hand out BABTAC accredited certificates on the same day. We also now offer a free refresher session to those students who want to practice at home for a few weeks and return for some feedback.

History

Established in 2012.

All of our Threading Courses are run by experienced therapists who also have the appropriate teaching qualifications. We always ensure small group sizes which we believe enhance the learning experience for all students. We have taught a diverse mix of students in the past including beauty therapy students, tutors, hairdressers, mobile therapists and students from a non beauty therapy background. Threading Hair Removal has become extremely popular over the last few years with brow bars popping up in local high streets, shopping centres and department stores so its the perfect time to gain a Threading qualification!
