The Sherlock Holmes Museum

Only if you are a huge fan of sherlock holmes. At $ 15 pounds its a little too expensive for the little that you see

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character, so this is obviously not THE 221B Baker street (Its actually situated between 237 & 241 Baker Street). Yes, Holmes is fictional, no Benedict Cumembacht does not live here or film here, neither does Robert Downey Junior. No, the Blue Plaque outside that says that Sherlock Holmes lived here, is not an authentic Blue Plaque.
Well, with that cleared up, what can you expect at this museum that you have wandered into when stepping out of Madame Tussauds.
This is tiny Georgian townhouse — 3 storeied, 4 rooms and a bath to be precise. Its cramped and if there are other tourists in there at the same time, you are constantly going to be jostled around. There isn’t place for more than a couple of people at a time.
The furnishings in here, do not belong to Arthur Conan Doyle or come from any of the countless on-​screen adaptations. The house is set up by the Sherlock Holmes Society of England with antique looking pieces (I’m not sure of their provenance and if they are actually antiques)
You can put on a cape and deerskin cap and pose with a pipe and take pictures. There a couple of cheesy tableaus with mannequins.
It is pretty and amusing, but is it worth 15 pounds entry? I wouldn’t think so, not for a 30 minute visit kind of place.
If you still aren’t sure, head to the gift shop which also sells entry tickets and take a peek around, to figure out if you would like to pay up. Otherwise, take a picture with the blue plaque or the number plaque outside and keep on walking. You can get better selfie backgrounds at the Baker Street Tube Station.

221b Baker St. Sí, ni más ni menos que el mítico domicilio de Sherlock Holmes en la ficción que aquí fue (re)creado en forma de museo y shop para el deleite de sus fans en un espacio que resulta más que agradable.
Hay que decir que este museo expone varios accesorios, figuras de cera en tamaño real y todo lo que se les ocurra sobre los míticos personajes de la obra literaria creada por Arthur Conan Doyle que fue transpuesta al cine y la televisión en tantísimas oportunidades. Hay que decir que cada cuarto de esta casa/​museo está bastante bueno, teniendo el plus de poder probarte la gorra, pipa y demás accesorios del mítico Holmes para llevarte una foto de recuerdo sin ningún cargo adicional.
La entrada está a un precio accesible y para los que gustan pueden llevarse algo de recuerdo en la tienda que está apenas entras al lugar, en dónde tienen todo tipo de merchandising, libros, dvds y demás accesorios que de seguro les resultarán más que llamativos.

This would be a ravishing great experience if it was free. Yes, it’s quite the thing to be walking through the real 221B Baker Street, but for £40 for a family of three, this was one of my absolute worst purchases in London. I rarely do anything touristy, but I made an exception, and I’m very disappointed with what happened. If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, I would recommend going to the shop (free) in the building and taking a few pictures, but DO NOT PAY FOR THE MUSEUM. I repeat, DO
NOT PAY FOR THE MUSEUM. It was basically rooms (Sherlock’s, Watson’s, Mrs. Hudson’s) filled with curios and the like described in the stories. The top two floors were filled with mannequins dressed in Victorian garb acting out scenes from the stories. There was no real knowledge there. Sure, it was interesting, but my family payed nearly $ 60 American for a bunch of fake things laid around an old Victorian house. And the brochure on the ticket did not give much information about the actual house. It did say that it was an old boarding house, but why was it laid out exactly as described in the book? There was exactly 17 steps to the first floor, just as the stories describe. The house was built in 1815, which I learned from the brochure, before the publishing of the novel. But, after some online research I have learned, that in the time of the publishing, 221b Baker Street was not a real address, so therefore this specific building was not the inspiration for the Sherlock Holme’s stories. I’m guessing that it was altered to be more realistic. Do not be conned by this tourist trap of a building, save your £15, and go to a real museum.

If you’re a Sherlock Holmes fan, then this, by golly, is a must on your tourist list when visiting London. (After you see Tower of London, Big Ben, London Eye, Piccadilly Square, etc.) This museum located at 221B Baker Street, my girls and I thought it was a quaint and fun outing. There was no wait and we were quickly allowed to walk freely through the small, three story home. Each room is designed in that period with furniture, knock-​knacks, clothing, etc.
A bit on the pricey side for how small it is, I’m still happy we went.

This avid detective novel fan couldn’t pass up the chance to visit (despite standing Unilocal rating).
Experience: sadly uninteresting. not much to actually see, just exhibits setup in rooms of various scenes in Sherlock Holmes novels. Exhibits are described in the provided brochure but not labeled throughout the museum. Very confusing — had to ask guide for clarification. Place desperately needs interactive components.
Staff: sunshine on mainly cloudy day. friendly doorman/​officer is happy to take pictures. staff in house and gift shop are nice about answering questions.

Disappointing. For another $ 8 — go to the tower of London, and if you’re already done that, go a second time to the tower of London instead of coming here. It seemed like a great idea, but its small and there’s no real purpose to anything inside. Honestly, the best part was probably the gift shop, so just head in there for free and poke around. Very disappointing.

I know my negative review won’t turn away the most hardcore of Sherlock fans (as I am one of them, and was given a warning from a friend I wish I had heeded), but I feel compelled to write the review anyway, in case it saves one person wasted time and money from visiting this flea circus!
Firstly, lets start with the fact that this ISN’T EVEN A MUSEUM! I museum would have actual artifacts related to Sherlock Holmes. I thought maybe perhaps there would be some actual exhibits – or something? Anything? Maybe a few copies of the original stories? Maybe some costume pieces or props or something from the bajillion incarnations of Holmes on the screen? Maybe some curiosities from the Victorian times with actual literature that explains their origins? Maybe just ONE SINGLE EDUCATIONAL THING – you know, like a MUSEUM has?
You know what you get instead? You wait an hour after paying way too much for a ticket (25 pounds? Are you guys being serious? Where does this money go? Cause lord knows it isn’t to the exhibits) then you are squeezed into this tiny house which is a recreation of what whoever thinks Sherlock’s flat would have looked like. That’s it. Honestly. You are walking through a set. You will learn nothing. You will look at the rooms and say «oh, this is sorta cute» and then move on. Eventually there will be an object that has something to do with one of the stories. That’s cool I guess. But you have to be a pretty serious fan to spy them, and even when you do, it’s like «okay, so I saw some orange pips or something. Well, that totally wasn’t worth $ 40 American dollars.»
Then upstairs there are wax figures from various Sherlock stories. Instead of having placards like a regular museum, they give you a pamphlet that was maybe helpful before they rearranged the place or something. I don’t know. It is another one of those things you look at and say «oh, that’s neat I guess», and then leave incredibly disappointed.
This place is a mess. It reminds me of some weird roadside attraction that you would see in the states that you would immediately regret stopping for. It is awful. It is truly awful. If it were like $ 5 or something it might be worth it, but otherwise – skip it. Or, go to the gift shop, which is a thousand times more interesting than the museum. This place was so terrible that I honestly felt incredibly guilty for dragging my mother to see it when we could see like 500 better museums. I STILL feel guilty, actually, which is totally why I am writing this review. Anyway, please, for the love of Doyle, stop giving this place your business!

Not worth £15 and 1,5 hour in line. Nice idea but it’s just a furnished apartment with stuff that has to do with Sherlock Holmes.
There is basically no signs explaining what the different things are which makes it hard for someone who is not a die hard Sherlock Holmes fan.
I was quite honest disappointed, even though I didn’t expect much.
BUT if you are a hardcore Sherlock Holmes fan, and not the 21^th century Sherlock, you will love it.

I feel like this is a Mecca for Sherlockians. I appreciated the staff who were friendly and helpful.
There wasn’t a lot from the new Sherlock, but there are some old dusty antique things from the books. I wish they had his clothes somewhere because I always got confused with what a cravat looked like vs. some other piece.
Probably the most humorous thing was one of the staff saying some visitors used the loo in the attic. Who could blame them, it’s pretty like a teapot.
I think it would also be nice if it was more like it was lived in, as if Sherlock and Watson had just stepped out for a case. They could make it like a thematic «ride» like Disneyland’s Haunted House. I don’t really get how someone could spend hours in there, but to each their own. :)
Gift shop was cute. I think they would make more money selling SHERLOCK stuff. I wanted to buy something for my friends in America but I didn’t see anything that they couldn’t get there.

Being fans of Sherlock Holmes, my boyfriend and I had this attraction on our «to do list» during our recent visit to London. Call us a bunch of tourists, but we were definitely excited to check out what lies at the infamous of 221B Baker Street actual address.
The museum is small, located in a narrow house with 3 floors. The rooms and their furniture recreate scenes from the Sherlock Holmes books (not the movies or TV shows). You get to see the living room with a fireplace, the bedrooms for Sherlock Holmes, Watson, and Mrs. Watson, as well as the bathroom at the top floor. I suspect most people will be disappointed when they come, especially if they’re looking for something more extensive. The whole museum was very vague, as there was barely any information provided — no tour guide, audio guides, or labels to explain the various exhibits. The museum should definitely have more information on the items themselves; even if it’s just more sign to read so visitors are aware of its significance. We kind of walked through it blindly and guessed what everything was — didn’t really learn anything at the end of our visit.
It is fun to visit but don’t expect too much. It is an okay attraction if you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, but it is a bit expensive to see a very small museum where you only need 30 minutes max to spend there. There was barely any information and no interactive components. It can be hard to enjoy when it’s busy and with everyone squeezing through to take pictures. It is probably overpriced for £10.

For the price I would have appreciated a lot more interactive components– even if this was just more signs to read about Sherlock and the era he lived in. It attempts to be both a museum and an authentic model of Sherlock’s house. However, I did take a picture in the living room with the hat and pipe, pretending to be Sherlock on so that was a good souvenir.
Overall, if this is your first time visiting London, don’t go (unless you are a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes book). There is much more to see and do in London, unless you have already seen all the big attractions.

Tip: if you want to buy the sherlock hat, do not buy it from the gift shop, it is cheaper in the street.

Okay, okay, okay. Listen, I know that you know that Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character — but, what if, stay with me, what if… he isn’t?
I know. I know, I know, I know. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote the character, and he was based on a couple of different people, and fictional characters don’t magically become real, and blah blah blah. But you know what? Conan Doyle once said «do what you want with Sherlock Holmes» as a response to someone asking if they could pen a play in which Sherlock marries.
Do. What you want. With Sherlock Holmes.
Do you know what this means? IT MEANS HE’S REAL! He’s real, because that’s what *I* want. And what’s more? You can visit his goddam house for a nominal fee. For 20 pounds, or whatever, you can walk in to the flat at 221B effing Baker Street, and you can literally tour Sherlock Holmes’ legendary HOUSE. But can you see the hats of Holmes and Watson hanging on a hook exactly where they would be if two men who wore hats actually lived here, you ask? The answer is yes! But what about Sherlock’s violin? Rest assured that it’s here! The knife stuck to the mantel piece? Yes! Two comfy arm chairs facing each other by the fireplace? Check! A BOOK ABOUT BEE KEEPING OPENED TO REVEAL MYSTICAL BEE KEEPING MAGIC ON SHERLOCK’S NIGHT STAND? YES, YES, YES!
But, listen. I’m sorry. I’m sorry that you probably live in a world where people insist that Sherlock Holmes is not real. I invite you to live in my world instead, my friend. Because in my world, people can fall from waterfalls and 15 story buildings and live to solve crime another day. In my world empty hearses are not creepy precursors to post apocalyptic zombie films. In my world one landlord can be both Mrs. Hudson, AND Mrs. Turner, because the hell with continuity! The difference between fiction and real life is that fiction has to make sense, and when did Sherlock Holmes ever make sense? Never! If that’s not confirmation, I don’t know what is.
Anyway, they’ll try to tell you this is a «museum», but whatever. You know that the great detective and his dear friend Doctor Watson have just stepped out on a consultation at Scotland Yard. And don’t you ever forget it.

Bit pricey to see a made up place that would have been Sherlock Holmes home if he were real. But fun for anyone who really likes the mystery. Considering so much in London is free. Not to bad to see.

This is the world landmark for all things Sherlock Holmes, yet you will learn nothing if you come here uninformed. The experience is completely exclusionary.
This «museum» is nothing more than a recreation of the spaces described by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories. It does nothing to further knowledge or history of the stories, it merely serves as a tourist trap. Still, it’s clear that they put a lot of work into recreating the fictional home of the characters, with many subtle props I’m sure the most knowledgeable and detail-​oriented fans will appreciate. I respect the approach, but for probably 80−90% of people stopping by 221b Baker Street, it’s just a bunch of knick knacks put in cases in an old house.
Ultimately, it’s a complete disappointment which does nothing to bring new fans into the world of Sherlock Holmes, or share the passion with the less indoctrinated. Which, given the current surge in popularity thanks to Benedict Cumberbatch, is a huge missed opportunity for the curator and the Sherlock Holmes Society of England who run the place. You would do well to skip this unless you’re a die-​hard fan.

It was a cute, quaint little «museum». Rather than call it a museum, I’ll paint it out for what it really was: a home. The museum was created based on what the creator imagined Detective Sherlock Holmes’ home would actually look like, based off of descriptions of the book.
It is a 3 floor walk up (4 floors if you include the bathroom up top). The first two floors are the living areas with a lot of attention to detail (I.e bottles of different poisons, glued, and for some reason, diarrhetics) and props from different adventures. The third floor has wax figures of different characters and scenes from the books. The whole thing couldn’t take more than half an hour if you pay a lot of attention to the small details. It is very small and cramped, but a great visit for true fans of the book. It does not consist of information from the BBC or RDJ versions.
The store, however, contains souvenirs from all 3, selling pipes, lighters and matches, playing cards, the book itself, and DVD sets of any Sherlock Holmes movie (RDJ and a Tom & Jerry special) and the BBC series.

Je né suis pas un super fan de Sherlock Holmes, ce qui influence un peu ma note.
Nous sommes passés devant par hasard et par curiosité, nous avons essayé d’entrer. C’était sans compter l’interminable file d’attente de fans hystériques de Sherlock.
Alors pour en profiter au maximum, nous avons immortalisé notre passage par une belle photo devant le musée avec le policier d’époque, super sympa ! Et nous avons acheté quelques bricoles pour nos amis fans de Sherlock. La boutique vaut le coup pour les passionnés de l’intrigue.

My cousin from Brittany led us here. She traveled to London to see this place. She is a fanatic. I am a fan. We arrived at closing time. There’s a life of Sherlock re-​creation, a gift store and restaurant. and limitless room for your imagination to wander.

This is a really interesting place for all Fans of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.
I really had the feeling Sherlock and Watson are alive.
You could feel the spirit of these two famous people.
So, if you have time come to the Baker Street 221 b ;-)
I am sure, I will do a visit again.

Ok, so I’m a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. I went here expecting real stuff. You know, things used while filming and such. Not much of that here I’m afraid. Mostly replicas and dolls depicting scenes from the books. It’s still fun though. At least if you really are a fan.
Anyway, it’s something I had on my check list of things to do in life. Been there, done that, won’t go back. The gift shop I may very well visit again though. Expensive, yes, but they have many fun things indeed.

Situé au 221b Baker Street à Londres, ce musée abrite l’univers d’un des détective les plus connu, Sherlock Holmes. On peut ainsi voir des décors et des figurines représentant les célèbres personnages des romans de Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Le musée est minuscule mais l’atmosphère y est. Vous serez ainsi accueillis par un policier et vous pourrez même poser avec les accessoires du détective et de son équiper, le docteur Watson, plutôt sympa quand on connait les livres ou leurs différentes adaptations. L’entrée coûte 8£ pour un adulte et 5£ pour les moins de 16 ans. A voir si vous passez par là où si vous êtes fan du célèbre détective !

If you are a Sherlock Homes fan this a must visit. That said:
Is it the coolest thing I’ve ever seen? No.
The rooms of Sherlock, Watson, and Mrs. Hudson were neat. Being at 221B Baker Street was really cool. Taking a picture in the Sherlock hat was also cool.
The wax figures on the top floor are just weird and brought the whole thing down for me.

It’s tiny, nothing like Disneyland. But if you’ve enjoyed any of the numerous film or book versions of the legendary English sleuth, you’ll enjoy the brief visit here in what was purported to be the detective’s crib. I got there at the right time, I guess, as the curator and I were the only ones there. It was «elementary» then that I was treated to a one-​on-​one question and answer session with the gnarly old codger who was clearly a bit too taken with the whole Holmesian mythology. He even had his name legally changed to Holmes! (so he said, sadly)
I was particularly interested in Sherlock’s side-​story drug use and the curator was very candid in showing me where he supposedly hid his stash from Dr. Watson and the landlady. There was even an old hypodermic needle on the mantle.
But for his too-​lengthy explanations of this and that, more trivia than I cared to know (probably more than author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle cared for too), I was out of there in a little over an hour and, feeling a bit claustrophobic, bade farewell to Mr. Holmes and popped into the local pub on the corner where they served appropriately named pub fare dedicated to our hero, «Mystery Meat» Shepherd’s Pie, Brisket of the Baskerville’s, Watson’s IPA, that sorta thing.
There is a souvenir shop inside (
) as well as across the street and just for yah-​yahs, I bought a pipe-​smoking reclining Holmes as bronze paperweight to bring home. I’m looking at it right now, receiving a message saying «That’s quite enough, my Dear. Please do trudge on.»
So before I say tootles, I’ll leave you with something I can’t seem to forget:
Doctor Watson asked Sherlock how he had deduced crime facts so easily and Sherlock replied, «Elementary, Watson. When you remove everything but the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.»
As they say in LA, «It ain’t rocket science, Holmes!»

Muy necesario si eres MEGA fan de Sherlock, como yo. Cuesta 6£ entrar (algo excesivo), pero recrea lo que todos los lectores hemos tenido en mente alguna vez… El material quirúrgico de Watson, los manuales de anatomía, pipas y lupas, las chimeneas encedidas y, sobre todo sobre todo, la espectacular tienda de recuerdos.

Ein absolutes Muss für jeden Fan. Kenner werden die nachgestellten Szenen der Geschichten schnell wiedererkennen. Schön, dass dafür extra die Hausnummer 221b hinzuerfunden wurde. Selbst in der Ubahnstation findet man Sherlock auf den Kacheln herrlich!

Für jeden Sherlock Holmes Fan ein absolutes MUSS!!! Etwas eng, aber es hat unglaublichen Spaß gemacht.

En tant que grande fan du détective, je né pouvais aller à Londres sans visiter ce musée. Bien sûr Sherlock Holmes n’y a jamais habité, bien sûr tout est fabriqué de toutes pièces. Mais ça fonctionne super bien et j’y ai passé un moment génial ! Les billets sont un poil cher, et je né recommande pas cette visite aux non-​fans mais pour les autres aucun problème, vous pouvez y aller !

Das Museum zieht sich über 5 Etagen eines kleinen Gebäudes.
Auf jeder Etage befinden sich 2 Räume in die man (mehr oder weniger) kurz ansieht.
Die Zimmer haben eine authentisch, alte Einrichtung mit brennenden Kaminöfen (Ende Oktober ich vermute, dass das im Sommer anders aussehen dürfte)
Da ich selbt kein wirklicher Sherlock Holmes Experte/​Fan bin und die Zahl der Ausstellungsstücke sich insgesamt sehr in Grenzen hält, ist man durch das Museum sehr schnell durch.
Die meiste Zeit verbringt man dann noch fast damit im engen Treppenhaus den entgegenkommenden Besuchern auszuweichen.
Der nebenan befindliche Souvenirshop, in dem man vorher auch die Eintrittskarten kauft, konnte mich auch nicht wirklich überzeugen.
Die Angestellten, die als Polizist vor dem Eingang, als Watson im Museum selbst und als Dienstmädchen im Shop auftreten, machen das ganze zwar ein bißchen lebendiger, für die 6 Pfund Eintrittspreis was das gebotene aber doch etwas enttäuschend.
Für wahre Sherlock Holmes Fans wahrscheinlich trotzdem ein Highlight, für alle anderen gibt es aber wirklich bessere Museen in London.

Für alle Sherlock Holmes Fans ein absolutes Muss wenn man in London ist!!!

Tous les fans de Sherlock Holmes se doivent de visiter un jour le musée qui lui est consacré à Londres au 221b Baker Street. Les différentes pièces de la maison sont scrupuleusement reconstituées et les moindres détails illustrent les aventures du détective. En face du musée se trouve une sympathique boutique pour fans en quête de curiosité, gadgets, ou livres.

Mit einer überwältigenden Liebe zum Detail wurden die Wohn– und Arbeitsräume von Holmes und seinem treuen Mitarbeiter Dr. Watson ausgestattet. Man meint beinahe, jeden Augenblick könnten die beiden von einer Exkursion heimkehren
Direkt am Eingang des Hauses wird man bereits von einer Hausangestellten (im historischen Kostüm!) erwartet. Man zahlt seinen Einrittspreis (Erwachsene £6, Kinder unter 14 Jahren £4)
und beginnt seine Reise zurück in die Zeiten des Meister-​Detektives im ersten Stock.
Dort befindet sich Holmes Arbeitszimmer und es riecht dort nach Tabak– Holmes war schließlich Pfeifenraucher! Im Sessel vor dem Kamin kann man es sich bequem machen und vielleicht für ein Foto posieren.
Viele seiner persönlichen Gegenstände sind hier zu finden. Sei es nun sein Fernglas, diverse Lupen, seine Kalabasch-​Pfeife, die Violine auf der er gern spielte, s ein Notizbuch oder seine persischen Pantoffel– um nur ein paar zu nennen.
Steigen wir nun die Treppenstufen hinauf, in den zweiten Stock.
Dort erwartet uns das Schlafzimmer Dr. Watsons.
Hier finden wir viele persönliche Gegenstände und Papiere des Arztes und Detektiv-​Kollegen von Holmes. Darunter u. a. das Tagebuch Watsons mit handgeschriebenen Notizen zu ihrem berühmtesten Fall Der Hund von Baskerville.
Schauen wir uns weiter um und begeben uns in den dritten Stock dieses im Jahre 1815 erbauten Hauses.
Hier finden wir erstaunliches vor: Sherlock Holmes und sein größter Widersacher, Professor Moriarty, in einem Raum! Zum Glück sind es Wachsfiguren, ich denke, sonst wäre Dr. Watson hier, um die eine oder andere Wunde zu versorgen!
Während unseres Besuch spüren wir allseits die Nähe der treuen Seele der beiden Detektive, Mrs. Hudson. Sie bewohnt ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock im hinteren Teil des Hauses. Mrs. Hudson war ebenfalls für die Zubereitung der Speisen und die Führung des Haushaltes zuständig.
Am Ende des Besuches im Hause der beiden Meisterdetektive besuchen wir den Shop. Hier können wir zahlreiche Andenken, Geschenke wie auch kleinere Antiquitäten erwerben.

Le héros de sir Arthur Conan Doyle a rendu légendaire le 221b Baker Street, adresse imaginaire qui est désormais devenue réelle, puisqu’un petit musée a été aménagé dans cette rue Baker, un endroit opportunément devenu le 221b Baker Street. La reconstitution de la demeure du célèbre détective est amusante, mais vite vue, il s’agit plus d’un gadget que d’un vrai musée, et si la visite est sympathique, elle est brève, surtout vu le tarif pas donné, comme toujours à Londres… Note: ⁶⁄₁₀

Elémentaire mon cher… Lock Holmes
Il faut la trouver cette petite maison, au 221b à Baker Street… Et oui, pas de grands tralalas, le but est d’y visiter la maison telle qu’elle est décrite dans les oeuvres de Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, et telle qu’elle fut habitée par ce bon cieux Sherlock. Et c’est exactement ce à quoi on a droit ! Un endroit typique, ou on peut voir le bureau de Holmes, ses expériences chimiques, la trousse de Watson, on peut même tester sa pipe et sa casquette ! Pour finalement voir sa chambre… et le tout en l’état ! Quelques figurines bien placées reprennent des scènes de ses aventures, sans oublier une représentation de son ennemi le professeur Moriarty… Un lieu agréable à visiter le temps d’une enquête…

Un détour s’impose pour les fans invétérés de Sherlock Holmes… Dans une petite maison toute en hauteur, l’appartement de Sherlock a été fidèlement reconstitué. Petite anecdote: l’adresse est 221b Baker Street, mais la maison se situe en fait au 236 de la même rue !

Holmes is alive !
Au 221B de Baker Street est le domicile du plus célèbre détective de l’histoire de la Littérature. Les fans de Sherlock et son brave compagnon, le cher Watson, né seront pas déçus de la visite. L’appartement Victorien est certes très étroit, mais la richesse du lieu réside en ces milliers de détails disséminés ici et là, que l’on s’amusera à identifier tels des petits détectives en herbes… une loupe, une pipe, une paire de chaussons persans, un Stradivarius… et les 17 marches qui mènent au premier étage. Atmosphère studieuse et «cosy».
