History

The tale then jumps to 1843, when a Polish doctor documented how salt mine workers didn’t seem to suffer from the same respiratory problems as the general population. Salt Therapy generated in a controlled environment began in 1989 in Russia. The first Salt Cave opened in 2008 in the UK.

After becoming passionate about the efficiency of Salt Therapy, founders of The Salt Cave began a journey of consultation with scientists and doctors to develop Breeze Tronic Pro, the most sophisticated technology for replicating a natural salt cave.

Business Owner

The Salt Cave was founded by Sofia Benke and Denes Gal in 2007.

Sofia and Denes decided to start their own business and introduce salt therapy to the UK. Since they were not satisfied with the available technologies they decided to explore all options available in the world and build their own technology. They purchased all the available devices related to this therapy which they tested for months. As none of the devices available on the market met their requirements for providing high quality Salt Therapy, they developed their own medical device, the Breeze Tronic Pro with a team of electricians, programmers, medical specialists and engineers, thus starting a new era in the history of Salt Therapy.

Denes and Sofia are currently working to expand and develop their franchise packages with a view to open branches throughout the UK, USA, Australia and Asia.
